Even though I trade options, this happened to me today, I saw a swing high that I wanted to buy the break but I didn't wait for the break bar to close. Hi. I'm a recovering trader. I have been on a losing streak these past few days. Gained 2.5++ in one to two days but recently lost it all back to break-even, all in one week. Last month, I gained 6% (oddly all in a few days as well) but brought it down gradually to 1.5% Good thing though is I was able to journal my every trade now. What's ur risk management like?? The best way to avoid loosing all ur wins is to reduce ur risk wen in a loosing streak

I impose lower risk levels when I have a string of losses, i.e., reducing my exposure to half after 4 consecutive losses or when I lose a certain amount, regardless if I'm in profit or at a loss. It takes some effort getting my balance back up to where it originally was but it helps me work on my trades without risking more money.
