I am so glad you like it Jessie! I don't remember what key the song was originally written in. When I was working on arrangement, I just felt the song sounded good in the key of C on my Loralea. Besides, it's a lot easier to memorize the chords in C for me 😄.

Thank you Marianne for your comment. Double strung harps have 2 rows of identical strings so you can create overlapping and interesting effects that sound richer and fuller than a single strung. @@Srvhbbjc Stoney End double strung harps are my favorite because I like their soft tender tonal quality. For me, you can't go wrong with a DS Lorraine/Loralea or their DS lap harps such as Brittany/Brea/Eve/Ena. The F-F strings of all the mentioned harps will have a warmer and softer tone than the G-G counterpart. So it really depends whether you prefer a brighter, sparkly tone, or warmer and softer tone. It also depends whether you want a smaller portable lap harp or a floor harp with more strings. You are welcome to email me if you want to explore further detailed information 😉.

This is amazing! I really love this harp of yours, can you tell me which manufactuerer it was made by? Apparently these harps are not that common in europe and I could not find a single manufacturer in germany who makes them with parallel strings.
