In the late 1980s, sculptor Tibor Bartfay dedicated the statue, named Girl with Ravens or The Bratislava Witch, to the memory of the women burned as witches in Bratislava, or Pressburg as it was then known. Was such a beautiful statue I had to know more. @ 4:45

Our Airbnb in Riga was a studio apartment to ourselves with double bed, big bathroom and kitchen for £16 EACH a night 😂 but we booked a few months in advance haha. But then the food seemed pricier so

I went to Bratislava a few years ago courtesy of Ryanair for £16 rtn from London Stansted . It’s a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit. I took a bus and visited also visited Vienna.
