This must be the most amazing piece of film you've ever made (and you've made quite some good stuff)!! What a beautiful, touching, loving way of honoring this deep, wise soul. Vulnerable, powerful, you brought me to tears. So happy that he has found home with you. After all that he's been through. Maybe searching his whole life for that special connection, for someone who he could share his wisdom with. Barely giving up maybe that it would ever happen (not saying his owner wasn't good to him of course! The fact that he let Q live with you says a lot). He kind of sounds like a Metal Element, so reliable, hard worker. Horses who go really deep, but don't show it that easily. When out of balance, they withdraw in them selves. Eating them selves from the inside, more than they would "fight" to their owner. I've really loved watching your video, it was absolutely perfect and so heartfelt. Thank you for putting all this effort, you can be extremely proud on yourself!

Really beautiful. If only other horses, so neglected and abused, could come to someone incredible like Eva and Yesser in their life and experience true love. Horses are exactly like people. They respond to life circumstance, and life experience. Que-Habil had shut down emotionally, due to being ripped away from so many homes, like so many horses are. But Eva painstakingly brought Que-Habil back to love, trust, peace and fullfilment. Eva has incredible parents. They are wonderful. And Eva has incredible friends like Yesser (Jesse) Drent. Thank you so much for the film. Sometimes videos that are a little bit longer can really serve a purpose. We love you Que-Habil.

what an absolutely amazing story❤️❤️❤️such a perfect match!!! He is so beautiful. I've been fortunate enough to have a relationship with a stallion like this.. my last horse... " Wally" (bright wallaby doc) and the time and the bond I had with him will be hard to replace!! I found him as a foal on his mother's side and as soon as I met him, the original owner knew it was a match.. she did everything she could to make sure I took him home when it was time to wean him... I had never owned a stallion and really at the time didn't have the facilities for one. Somehow my husband and I made it work. Wally and I did great things, we even qualified for the world championships in several events over the years with the Appaloosa horse club.I will always be grateful for the time I had with him!! When he was 20 we had to move and I was lucky enough to have a friend who let him spend the remainder of his days in the pasture with his own broodmares.. because of my time and dedication to him he was an exceptional boy and earned himself a name as a top Appaloosa stallion!! When I watch you Eva, I just want to share stories back with you!

Ik zeg vaak: horses give you everything, give them back. they give love, give them back love. they give freedom, give it back to them❤️ jullie Nalanta zijn echt een enorme inspiratie voor mij.

He was afraid to get attached to you because you might give him away and it hurts. But through time he learned to know you and through your patience and understanding of his past you built a strong relationship and he started trusting you. It's a good learning lesson that we can't expect horses to adjust and warm up to us. They need to get to know us too. We have to build a relationship of trust. It was nice to see him clothes his eyes and in a way say all is well I am ok now.

Your description of his being moved from owner to owner and having to break emotional bonds each time until he finally just stopped trying to connect reminds me very much of the foster care system and the children in it. Omg this was so beautiful ... I adore how understanding and patient you are with your horses, even though it can be tough sometimes 🥰 I also loved how you talked about the mostly unnecessary "fear" we have of stallions ... I had the privilege that there was a stallion in my riding classes which I started riding when I was very young who was actually the calmest and most gentle horse I've ever met ... he tought me so much and made me open and not scared anymore to meet more stallions and see, that there's nothing to be afraid of. They sometimes might me a little more powerful, but they're still horses with a mind and when you just treat them with patience and compassion, a mutual understanding can be formed, a bond, with which everything seems possible ❣ I hope, I was able to express what I was trying to say haha

What an incredible journey you and Q have taken together. You were an amazing horsewoman before, but I think Q helped you become even better. The lessons an older horse, especially one who has seen and experienced so much, can teach us are invaluable. When I was still riding (I haven't ridden in years due to the lack of money and no car), the best horses I rode were the older ones. Winkie, a one-eyed palomino QH mare, taught me to trust. Sweetheart, a tobiano grade mare, taught me to be confident. Little Cody, an Egyptian Arab gelding, taught me to relax. Big Coty, the Appaloosa gelding, taught me to be brave. Blaze, an OTTB, taught me self-control. You can't learn those lessons from a younger horse. Younger horses teach you to be patient, but that patience only comes when you've benefited from the patience of older horses. The schoolmasters. Horses like Q, Sammie, and Jesse's mare Andorra. Thank you for sharing your journey, Eva. 💜

Eva,Eva,Eva! Damn-you did it again. You made me ugly cry- but this time- tears of absolute happiness and joy. I don’t even have words that could possibly describe what you (BOTH) made me feel and all that just through a bloody video. Eva,Q: thank you, both of you guys so bloody much for that magical feeling. Especially in these dark and horrible times🌞❤️

Omg, thank you so so much, reading your comment just puts the tears right back into the corners of my eyes. I just want everyone watching to feel - if only it be 1% - what I feel. Thank you, so much. I have also been ugly-crying editing this video. I translated the feeling in my heart to this video and I am so thankful people feel it too. LOTS OF HUGS TO YOU!
