Ali wow, getting up from wakeful night and crying in the shower I grabbed my phone and here you are. I too am a Yoga teacher & massage therapist going through this journey of insomnia after a stressful life event. I've been in a mental health retreat in the early stages (5 months ago) with that terror, your entire story reaches into my soul, I miss teaching and I miss my work, I don't want Insomnia to take away my life anymore im done with the suffering. I want to do the immunity program but I'm uncertain I can afford it at this stage as I'm hardly working and my husband is holding things steady financially.

Aloha Aly! Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm also a recovering yoga teacher and I would always think, "I should know better!". Love how you talk about truly embodying these yogic principles we study! Insomnia recovery is really a beautiful opportunity for self compassion and surrender. Looking forward to seeing more of you sharing your wisdom in the future! Brittany

I've experienced many of the items you've listed recently. I've slept about 9 hours last 3 nights combined, so here I am. I'm hoping to get some help! I appreciate the knowledge, thank you.

I sure can relate to this story! I am also a yoga and meditation teacher, was hit with insomnia out of the blue - similar story, I tried ALL the same attempts, "sleep solutions", ended up on a benzo, still tapering and still unwinding from that.

Did the benzo help? Was it Ambien? Thanks for sharing!

Amazing story! So encouraging for me. Also I might add so far yes, I love the support I've received from the coaches. I don't know what would have happened to me had I not found this program and this support!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Just a quick heads-up: we're hosting live Q&A sessions most weeks and we'd love for you to join us! It's a great chance to ask questions, share insights, and connect with others in the community.

#1 Try to let go of controllability, it means that you aren't trying to control your sleep #2 Try to not track the clock and time #3 Befriending wakefulness: try to make your waking time enjoyable or just embrace the rest #4 befriending fear : try to accept and make it easy for you to feel fear of wakefulness this leads to unlearn fear from not sleeping #5 try to make an open sleep window by not chasing sleep but rather embrace the rest #insomniarelief

I would love to join the immunity program but sadly I don't have enough money for it 😢. Especially the community part would be so helpful for me. Is there any way for rate payment (I'm not from the US)? I am at a point where I really want to overcome my struggle once and for all but I feel like the books are not enough for me

Can i please ask Aly what mg of valium did she take daily and for how long and was it difficult to come off ?
@sacredspacespa76808 ай бұрын
@briechilli4496 Hi! It was a very low dose diazepam I think 10mg, as a way of weaning off Xanax. But turns out I didn’t really need to ween as I wasn’t dependent on the Xanax. So I didn’t take it for long, maybe a few weeks. Aly
