21:40 It's kinda the opposite in Yuki and Masachika's situation. The anime didn't clearly spell it out but they left hints here and there, Basically the Suou family in this story is quite a rich family that has noble inheritage in the past. Although there's no such nobility in the modern society, their family still has a certain degree of importance in the society, therefore they still have some traditional noble-like practices left in their family. Their mother seemingly is the only child of her generation of the Suou family, which means they have a female lead in this case. Their father, whose surname was Kuze, was asked to change his surname to Suou upon marrying their mother, which is the opposite condition compared to most cases where it's the woman changes into the man's surname. This happens in certain big families in Japan where the daughter of those families want to keep their family name for whatever reason, so yes, "Kuze Masachika" was once "Suou Masachika" before their parents divorced. After the divorce, Masachika went with his dad, who reverted back to his family name of Kuze. KInda related to the nobility issue here, the people in the family will have to carry some duties on this. From Masachika's words can tell he was originally planned to take the Suou name and be the next head of the Suou family, which makes sense since he's the oldest son in the family. Yet he "ran away" with his father Kuze and left his sick sister Yuki to carry all these burden.

That wordplay line probably makes more sense in Japanese.
