Great video. I have followed this hair routine since her video came out. I mix my rhassoul using just 2tbsp into a 1/4 of a cup of apple cider vinegar, and enough rosemary tea to make it into a rinse that fills the applicator bottle and use it like a shampoo/ conditioner combo. What I have learned is to really wash out the rhassoul out (like the water should be clear and wash it longer than you think). I don't use conditioner , but follow with a hair mask. I make my own leave-in conditioner and flax seed gel which I style with to maintain moisture and add hold. Plopping really takes that sticky feel out too. I do follow her day 4 or 5 finger detangle and followed by boar bristle brush brushing until wash day. It really changed my hair for the better.

Guys, you can also do the clay wash upside down over the bathtub or the sink. It’s much less messy, really easy to clean afterwards and you don’t have the clay all over your body. It’s also way easier to use cold water when you rinse. 🥶

A few hints: Oiling the scalp after cleansing, is not advisable. Use a bit of oil when dry detangling. No wet detangling, trust the process (it’s hard to trust at first). “Gh“ in Arabic is a just a rough R sound.

Dry detangling is actually more damaging for curly hair than wet detangling. The inverse is true for straighr hair.

I did what you did, almost exactly! I had to wide tooth comb through with deep conditioner in shower and it felt weird coming out of the shower, like there was some film on it? Weird. I ended up spraying leave in conditioner instead of using oil & air drying instead of wrap drying. It seems to work for me? I'll keep trying it, glad I don't need curl cream or gel, had defined curls. And my hair is super dry!

I tried the rhassoul clay in the shower and I can say it's an absolute mess. Make sure you clean as you go. 😁 Next time I use it I'll try it as a mask on my hair and see if that works too.
