Gotta be honest FAM: 1. Baumgardner did *not look well conditioned for this fight. 2. Her gas tank appeared to empty out after that big first round. 3. She only fought IN SPURTS thereafter.. This is key; she can’t take this much “time off” against busier opponents who place their punches more effectively-like Serrano. 4. Once again, Alycia was hit *FLUSH WAY TOO MUCH IN THIS FIGHT! Why oh why is her head position STILL ON THE LINE??!! Tony, why haven’t you corrected this in the gym? Like, really FAM? You’re going to get Baumgardner hurt (real bad) if you don’t teach her to keep her head off the line… Next, why is she switching to southpaw so much, CROSSING THE LINE OVER AND OVER??🤔 Serrano is going to see these major flaws AND time her over and over… You can’t keep switching back and forth RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR OPPONENT. Additionally, to be clear, this is an honest critique of a fighter I adore! My frustration is based on my love and respect for her boxing potential. In reality, she did not progress in this fight.. Obviously, she’s a dynamic puncher with real power, but doesn’t have a high level defense imo… Had she used her jab more, she could have controlled her opponent with relative ease. Why did she stop jabbing and lose her “left hand control”? Furthermore, Mayweather has a saying: “You can give it but can you take it?” I don’t like Alycia taking countless flush shots to the head. I’m positive Amanda Serrano will attempt to exploit these deficiencies and attempt to walk right through her…. Alycia’s chin and head position is right on the line… Tony Harrison, with all respect, please fix this before fighting Serrano..✌🏾 Something was off in this fight…no 🧢…

Against Serrano though, she applies not just pressure and stamina alone like Linardatou but also punch power, and high ring IQ too! It would be extremely interesting to see how AB deals with that. I'm not doubting she can but I honestly can't call a winner 9f that one!!

AB I implore you to watch Shannon Ryan last fight. You guys fight similarly but she doesn't take too much time off rounds. It seems like you have to reserve a lot of energy after a dominant round. In those dead spaces...keep popping that jab and don't admire your shots, hit a move and work on your defense. A good person to emulate is Cruz who fought before you.

Alycia was definitely getting gassed 😮‍💨 (saw that in the Mayer fight too) but, she has heart. However, Alycia needs more stamina and she needs to hold the phone 📞 on her defensive guard when she's moving out of the pocket because she drops her guard too much. I also noticed how Alycia gets too comfortable and starts admiring her punches as if she's in a sparring session after connecting combos; she did that a lot in her fight with Mayer too.
