Watching this actually made me so emotional. Me and my dad used to watch Clone Wars a lot together when I was around 10 years old and we both loved the character Ahsoka. 4 years later we got a puppy and we decided to name her Azoka. Azoka sadly passed away last year way too early as she was only 5 years old

My dad and I did too. Every Saturday morning on Cartoon Network until it got cancelled. Then we heard about season 7 and were really excited and when it came out on Friday's we even both decided to wait to watch it until the next morning on Saturday. And I think watching the final season just like we had the rest of the show so many years before made the finale even more emotional because it carried the kind of nostalgia where's just like old times and nothing's changed.

That’s rough, but try to cherish the good times. You I’ll always have those memories & any bit of time we have with furry family is all good time. Pets are both lucky to have us as companions & as forever home providers, but we are the luckiest to have our cats & dogs as they enrich our lives as they give us endless laughs, joy & love. They are truly gifts & treasures that are one of the best things in this life. It’s amazing how specific foods, r a song or a tv show can hold a special connection or meaning for us. For you it’s Clone Wars & Ashoka which beautifully tie together memories of good times in your child hood with your family namely Dad & pup. It can be bittersweet but remember all of it is filled with far more joy than anything else. RIP to your dog. Hopefully your pup is looking down on you from Heaven happy that you did have many good years together. I lost my 2 cats this year and am a huge cat & dog lover. It’s rough losing them but every moment with them makes it all worth it.

Ezra should have be a Jedi too. Ezra Is the mirror of Ahsoka, they both should have to be Jedi but First the audience told at Ahsoka to LEAVE the Jedi Order and the Lasats told at Ezra to LEAVE the Rebellion. Barriss Offee and Thrawn are their Nemesis unlike the Legends. Ezra and Ahsoka married their lovers Lux and Sabine but the Force Is very strong in them. They are Always Jedi inside them. Is that because they both remain alive, that Thrawn and Barriss dies in the Mandalorian, and so they becomed the heir of Skywalker family After the rise of Skywalker :)

I enjoyed the series a lot, namely the Dooku episodes but they retconned an element of his backstory in his final episode The Sith Lord that I wish they had kept the same. SPOILERS BELOW \ \ \ In the old canon, Dooku was uncovering the existence of the Sith on his own and the death of Qui-Gon preceded him discovering Sidious who he originally sought out to kill but the two conversed for a while and Sidious managed to sway Dooku into instead by playing on his view of politics and his criticisms of the Jedi and their council's blindness and ineptitude. Also, in the episode hey make him conspiring with Sidious while Qui-Gon is still alive rather than that being one of the main sources for his turn.

@@kayden2119 SPOILERS In the animation, he turns his back on the Jedi before rather than after Qui-Gon's death for which he originally blamed the Order. It was the final nail in the coffin and one of the major reasons for him departing from the Order and turning to the dark side. By making him allied with Sidious already, it cheapens his arc by rushing it and removing a major motivating factor. Like many other characters, he is much more fleshed out in the novelizations. There are some really excellent characterizations of him and Grievous in James Luceno's Labyrinth of Evil. I'd highly recommend reading it and his other works.

@thepiousskeleton6046
@thepiousskeleton6046 Жыл бұрын
@@kayden2119 Yeah, it reduces the complexity of his motivations and makes them one-dimensional. That's not a good thing. He becomes solely ideologically motivated rather than both ideologically and personally. It's a needless simplification of the character and makes him much weaker and less compelling, narratively speaking. Not only were the Jedi corrupt but they were so arrogant as to be blind to anything which could challenge their power and that led to Qui-Gon being killed by that threat; a threat which both he and Dooku were warning the council to no avail.

@Indomitable
@Indomitable Жыл бұрын
There is no proof of two facing, and mace respected Dooku, and even defended him when he was suspected of doing horrid acts. Dogmatic Windu followed the rules, while Dooku didn't follow protocol and someone ended up dead that probably didn't need to be, which lead Windu to a higher position by being loyal. Windu saying he would put in a good word, so to speak was the truth. (Talking to Queen Amidala) Ki-Adi-Mundi: "He is a political Idealist, not a murderer." "Mace Windu: "You know M'lady, Count Dooku was once a jedi, he could not assassinate anyone. It's not in his character. "Two-facing" is literally not in his character. He is brash, straight-forward, Dogmatic, a stickler for rules and says what he means, and does what he says.

Anakin and Dooku were almost the same. You can tell from this series. The difference is that Dooku was more reserved than Anakin ever was but they were both quite impulsive and acted unortodox to achieve the right thing but both were easily persuaded to the dark side. And Windu isn't the only dick. He fully followed the rules set by the council. The council followed the corrupt senate and that's why Dooku founded the separatists. But the impact of Sidious clouded his vision and made the separatists corrupt aswell. From the perspective the movies show, Dooku's the villan but if you would swap perspective, he's a hero.

Ahsoka may not claim the title of Jedi, but she is enough of a Jedi for Order 66 to apply and for Mando to offer her Grogu. This series also did a great job at empathizing with Count Dooku, showing what lead to his fall to the Dark Side and formation of the CIS. Similar to Anakin, the actions of the Jedi Council played a major role in Dooku's downfall.

The fact Dooku tells Qui-Gon that he’s ‘a much wiser man than I am’ shows how Dooku was a good man at one point to compliment his Padawan for resolving conflict in a way he couldn’t was something I couldn’t imagine the man who fought Obi-Wan and Anakin in clone wars ever doing. Which makes it all the more meaningful when Qui-Gon says the same to Obi-Wan in TPM. The Dooku and Mace ep was also interesting note how before the mission Dooku called Mace his friend in the end stopped and called him ‘Master Jedi’ instead once he knew that Mace got a council seat. Dooku’s main issue was he didn’t like how the Jedi council were serving politicians rather than the will of the force and the fact that Mace’s predecessor died because of political agendas added to his frustrations.

Well, Ahosoka _was_ a jedi for a while, but then wasn’t. But you are correct that she wasn’t one as a baby. Jedi are just the most well known force sensitives, so the average person believes being force sensitive automatically makes you a jedi. Want more about Dooku and Qui Gon? Read Dooku: Jedi Lost and Master and Apprentice. Raxus Secundus became the Separatist capital, and Dooku became the leader of the separatist. It was in Clone Wars and Bad Batch. They had a vote to for peace talks but then Dooku sabotaged it with a bombing before the talks could happen, and the Bad Batch rescued its senator

That’s something I’m always kind of confused by when seeing some people’s reactions. People watching these shows often get overly analytical about vague statements like “Ahsoka is Jedi” when the simple explanation comes from how the characters themselves perceive the world around them. The elder isn’t goi BFF to say “Ahsoka is a Force-sensitive” because not only is that a clunky line that isn’t as impactful, but it WOULD make sense for her to say Jedi. The Order is a large presence in the galaxy. The Togruta regularly produce Force-sensitive children, and it’s not like they’re completely cut off from the rest of the galaxy.

I really thought the shorter style complemented the series well. Focused, strong stories that tell a clear but quick event. I think it worked great as a seperate thing from The Clone Wars, filling in gaps and enhancing other story lines. Im glad that they experimented abit like this and didnt feel the need to do like Bad Batch or TCW and go 20 episode seasons.

Windu followed the rules, was honest about the situation, and was willing to give as good a word towards Dooku as he could in that situation. Windu and Ki-Adi-Mundi even defended Dooku. (Talking to Queen Amidala) Ki-Adi-Mundi: "He is a political Idealist, not a murderer." Mace Windu: "You know M'lady, Count Dooku was once a jedi, he could not assassinate anyone. It's not in his character. Even when Dooku was questionable or horrid things, they defended him. Unfortunately, they were wrong about him. Mace Windu is dogmatic, at times arrogant, but he follows the rules to a fault. He might rub you the wrong way, but he was not the villain. Windu never did anything as horrible as training a cybernetic assassin that killed countless Jedi, using entirely peaceful people as targets for a new weapon with no aggression from them, or enslaving the whole of a Togruta colony, who were pacifists and neutral. I see this line of thinking when in regards to Anakin too "If Mace accepted him, Anakin would not have....(insert here)." Windu did not make him turn to the dark side, he did. Windu did not make him kill younglings, he did. Windu did not choke his wife almost to death in an explosion of rage when she was just trying to help him, endangering their children in the process, he did. Windu and Yoda were NOT perfect. But just because someone acts stern and almost like they are in a military force does not make them the worst person in the room. Dooku was far from the most evil person, but people have to accept the horrendous things he did." Let's be honest, I think most people would enjoy the personality of Dooku as opposed to dogmatic, follow the rules Windu. He was almost an ideal Jedi, and he made it as far in the ranks as he did with his skill and devotion to the Jedi order, as misguided as they were. Dooku made some horrible choices and went far and beyond being just "an annoying person who is a stickler for rules." I don't see a world where that is worse than what Dooku did, but admittedly, I probably would not want to hang out with Windu outside of work/missions. I'd put up with him to be trained by him, but he does not have a good track record of apprentices staying on the Light side of the force (In Legends, which is no longer canon unless they take inspiration from it). Mace was one of the few people who could stay devoted to the light and use Form VII (Vaapad). He learned that the hard way, along with said apprentices. Also fun note, Mace trained Depa Billaba, who became the master of Kanan Jarrus, who was Master of Ezra Bridger. Kind of an important turn of events there.

I find most commentators talk about the Jedi Council in a vacuum as if Sheev’s machinations don’t play any part in the decisions it’s compelled to make. The only bone I had to pick with TotJ was that the episodes were way too short. So much went into these stories and they could have shared so much more. Not like they didn't have Disney money to put into it or anything.... :)

"Affinity for animals, not shown before" actualy it's been shown plenty of times. It's a force power called Beast trick wich is a subsect of the mind trick. We see Anakin and Obi-wan use beast trick in the movies and again in the show with Obi-wan in Ryloth. Ezra Brider is just a more advanced and focused user of the beast trick.

As Jar Jar i would propose to give Dave Filoni full emergency power at Lucasfilm, it’s really needed
