I've never been very comfortable around horses but after watching M.Parelli's lectures and watching a few incredible trainers and their horses, I easily see everything I was doing wrong. This video blows my mind, the mare's attentiveness to her trainer's subtle commands is breathtaking to behold. Many kudo's!

Beautiful, horse and rider, in perfect harmony! I was a level 2 with my Appy mare and this would have been my ultimate to achieve! Sadly I lost her at 25 years but had 1/2 of that time with her doing Parelli! And this, well, as one person said, could watch forever!

People who give a video like this one, (so sweet and awesome to horseman and NON horseman) give it a "thumbsdown" sign just must have Nothing BETTER to do than to cause Conflict....first of all.....W.H.Y. Would you EVEN bother to watch??? and HOW can you NOT like something like THIS? It makes you Wonder....hmmmmm????.....WHAT could a person that gives this a "thumbs down" POSSIBLY LIKE???? And if you are just so unhappy in your life, I guess they only See misery wherever they look.......And then they like to Pass it on to everyone around them.....lol.....Geeeee! Isnt That Nice of them.....LOL!! What will they "thumbs down" NEXT??? A baby bunny and a little girl giving nose kisses!! HA! I have one thing to say to the two 'idiots' who "thumbs downed" this video......I bet if you had a money tree growing in your back yard you find fault with That Too!!! It would go something like this - Happy person talking: "Ohmygosh, You have a MONEY TREE Growing in your backyard and it is FULL of money!!!" "Thumbs down Person" replies: "Why, yes I do, but Gosh I had to give my money a tree "Thumbs Down" even thought it grows thousands upon thousands of dollars per day, I just have to.....because the branches are not a PRETTY Brown!!" I would Typically End my comment with "Have a nice day" but of COURSE "Thumbs down Guy" Isnt , So I will just say this to save him/her the trouble: "Have a nice Day, but it probably will rain, so it is better to just give this day a "Thumbs Down" Right now !!!!"

I used to ride horses like this who were unbroken. You just read the horse and stay on and move with it, work with it. The horse does not want to be ridden but eventually they slow down and become manageable. It is worth the effort because the horse becomes more useful.

Awesome. The ability of this lady reminds me of a story of an early 1800's Texas woman kidnapped by renegade Comanches who murdered many of her family members and made a slave of her. However, such abuse did not deter the young lady who happened to be quite the horseman and personally knew at least one very good horse that was taken in the raid on her family. She pretended to comply with Indian demands until, after a few days, found an opportunity to get near the horses at night. Escaping on a very good horse that she knew very well, she did not know where she was but headed as due north as she could. Her escape was not simple or straight forward given that she was in unknown territory in the Plains states area. Clothing for her and gear for the horse did not exist. After many days of desperate riding, she crossed the path of a wagon train headed west where they told her that she had traveled hundreds of miles if her story was true but they did not believe her story. She was directed east toward a fort. And finally an officer confirmed among the Indians parts of her story. She was quite the horse lady and it saved her life. I wish I could handily recall the name of the book of many such historical accounts. Many of such books are now found in reprint, such as "Indian Depredations in Texas" by Wilbarger (of Wilbarger County fame) and "The Flowers and Fruits of the Wilderness" by ZN Morrell, and "Our Wild Indians' by Col. Dodge.

how do you started with Parelli work? with help of a book or videos? i also want to start but i dont really now how.
@alysonr.williams36946 жыл бұрын
I have found their videos to be helpful but what has helped me the most through the years has been working directly with Parelli professionals. Although I am a hands-on learner and have to do it my self in order to put the pieces together, which might not work for everyone. I hope you have found a good path for you no matter which way it has lead.
