I think Alyssa did a good job, lets be honest, those girls weren't there to listen to her they were there for Austin. She is not ugly, yes that dress was hideous but she was probably told to wear it. Alyssa was trying to make the song more emotional by singing it with him and making it more intimate, Austin probably wasn't avoiding her, this was a performance, where you're going to stand and what you're going to do is usually planned out before you go on stage. They were both amazing.
