I can’t explain how absolutely soul shattering this advert is. It’s so brilliantly done and brings the realness of the disease. Well done and I hope so many people donate ❤️

My daughter's father in law has dementia. I find it so upsetting to see him deteriorating. The other day, he couldn't recognise a pound coin for a trolley. His wife copes remarkably well....or so she says ! I donate a small amount each month, it's the least I can do

I’m 24.. diagnosed with epilepsy and brain problems a couple of years ago… My memory is getting worse and worse as time goes on.. and watching this was absolutely soul destroying.. I want to be able to care and look after those who need me. Not those who need me looking after me 😢🤷‍♂️

Thats the problem as i said in my comments (that keep being deleted) side effects from medication can make the cognitive decline leading to dementis. Not on is it. I thought we lived in a world of free speech amd freedom of expression. But obviously not on this channel

Hi Mark, We are sorry to hear of your health concerns. Noticing issues with memory can be alarming, have you discussed with your GP or consultant whether this is a side-effect of any medications you’re taking? Having issues with memory loss due to a health condition outside of dementia does not necessarily mean you will go on to develop it, however, we can more than understand how frightening this can be and the uncertainty it can bring for your future. Please consider giving us a call to talk through how you are feeling and see what support we can provide you with. Our support line number is 0333 150 3456 and is open Monday to Wednesday 9am - 8pm, Thursday and Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm. Alternatively, you can email us at DementiaSupportLine@alzheimers.org.uk and an advisor will respond. Best Wishes, Dementia Support Line Team

I know the actor, Sam Cox. That's not his wife. I know him as quite a physically imposing and fit man (an athletic 6'3") so watching this out of the blue was very much a shock, for all sorts of reasons. I understand it's been around a while, but only saw it just before Christmas this year. It has remained with me. Haunting. Upsetting.

load of rubbish , because I live in Wales I was told on the phone they could not help . So I cared for my late wife on my own at home until the end. They even told me that Rose could not have attendance allowance though a local charity got it for her. Perhaps if I was English it might have been different. This so called charity is taking your money under false pretences
