Just want to want to add that, (according to therapists) there are MULTIPLE types of BPD, each with different backstories and different (bad) parenting styles that influence the development of the disorder. Not every BPD person has the same traits or the same backstory of how exactly the parents were dysfunctional. Just FYI for people who may assume that it always comes from the same thing.

Always stood for a stop to generalizations bout disorders and calm the stigma around the patterns of the disorders. I think my country of Norway, is completely different in effective healthcare both physical mental. Ain’t much of mainstream looks at BPD either not much talked about on social media or on websites other than help forums where people with disorders can help people close to that disorder. And do people actually think a disorder like BPD don’t have treatments my god, my rule of thumb, if she turns down treatment one or more times without a valid reason plz just get out if it’s something yo able to, know of BPD folks who got treatments and others who hadn’t but varied in them and their BPD. Sadly the start off it all was one of those horror stories, I was 15 n she was my first girlfriend, rest ain’t important but point is even tho I had a bad start I learned throughout that first relationship and kept on readin, listening, reflecting, which has not only helped me many times different times but I have been able to help others, and ofc understanding more of this complex subject in general. All people should agree that you Don’t group people by disorders or stigmatize em, have a great day
