I'm Filipino and here's my advice to non Filipinos looking for a pinoy boyfriend. 1. Ideally look for someone who is educated, a professional or has a stable job. It's all about the economics. 2. If you're older(40s or older) and looking for a hot 20 y.o., who's in 'school', unemployed then you'll be in for a ride unless you have deep financial resources to be a sugar daddy. Be more age appropriate. 3. Most of these young Filipinos on the dating websites are coming from a disadvantaged backgrounds and looking for an easy way out. Learn to weed them out.

definitely, so we Filipinos who are serious now suffer because of this actions by some filipino gaymen who are looking for sort of fun and sugar daddy out there. exactly look for someone who is not exactly stable but atleast earning for his living.... never play with college boy, surely those gays who are now working surely look for LOVE.... ❤️

The trouble is it’s extremely hard uk find a middle class,working Filipino online-there are virtually none on the dating sites. I wouldn’t look for someone as immature as 20 y.o. but 25-40 perhaps

Exactly the same thing happened to me. A guy I met on grindr started out really really sweet and romantic, even claiming he would spend the rest of his life with me after only 3 days. Then on the 4th day he suggested I should buy bitcoin from a website he recommended. I blocked all his communication right there and then.

Great video! So many older western men are so needy and lonely that we put up with things because the alternative is to be alone. Many places in the world they prey upon us because the locals know this! :(

Don't pretend you're not getting anything out of that transaction. If you're not willing to date men your own age (or closer to it) then it's very likely you'll be in a transactional relationship.

I hope I am speaking in behalf of our community, that we are very sorry for the sender to go through this unfortunate situation. This is why giving gifts may not be necessary (the same comment that I left on the video "How to win a Filipino's Heart") because this will give an impression of money as the core of the relationship. As for someone who is genuinely looking for my other half, such experience may cause casting stereotypes that every Filipino is the same. Trust me, we are not. Just be mindful and know that we all deserve better. :-)

I have considered bringing a guy to Australia before. But the amount of scammers out there makes the idea dead in the water. Its harder for me now as I can no longer travel overseas like I did in my 20s. So bringing someone to me seemed a good idea but I suspect too much risk.
@kingtut4734 Жыл бұрын
Well, if you're disabled maybe you don't have much to lose at this point? Can you bring someone back to Australia without having met them first? Cuz honestly your best way of seeing if the guy is for real is how much he wants to fuck. A If he acts like its a chore then drop him, I don't care what excuses he makes. A young man that doesn't wanna fuck is never a good sign. If he's good in the bedroom and you two get along then I say go for it. No matter what you'll be breadwinner in the relationship but Filipinos are great caregivers and they tend to stick it out till the end.

If the Australian government was not being such overbearing dicks over covid I might have taken up such an offer from a guy. Oh I totally understand the getting to old for stuff. There is something that I have always wanted to do in Australia that I am just way to old to do now and that was to take a horse back ride across the outback east to west and back. I just could have never afforded it when I was actually young and now that I could afford to do it I'm to old to do it safely.

If you're an older westerner and you're looking for a 20 year old pinoy to marry, you're delusional. If you are looking for love, try finding an older professional man, not an unemployed 20 year old. However, if you're comfortable being some cute boy's sugar daddy for life, that's available too, but you have to be rational about it!

It's always not money. What about those younger filipino guys who want a greencard? They will use older foreigners ( Americans as example) as a ticket to get out of the Philippines and live the American dream. Once they get their Permanent green card, they're gone.
@weirdnomad88683 жыл бұрын
I'd say the wider the age gap the more likely it is he's not legit. That being said I personally know a lot of couples with large age gaps and they're very much in love with each other. Gay couples are far more likely to have large age gaps than straight couples anyway. If you take your time and know him well before bringing him to the US you should be fine. One of the best ways to know if he's legit is your sex life. Does he avoid it? Does he solicit it? Those questions can help you see if he's legit really quickly.
@DonkeyearsaКүн бұрын
That is easy to prevent don't marry them. If you are not married they don't have a legal foot to stand on to get a green card.

I have been watching your videos just today and I cannot just shrug it off and not notice the grievances you have with the Philippines and the Filipinos that you constantly hiding in your innocent vlogs. I feel sorry for you if you had any or many bad experience/s but it is very obvious how low you look onto and see Filipinos. You know, there are good and bad people anywhere in the world and maybe there are more bad people in wherever you came from. It is ok to share your bad experiences with Filipinos if you really have, but generalizing Filipinos?! Seriously??? If you met a lot of poor Filipinos who have intentions of stealing from you and doing a lot bad things unto you then maybe it is yourself you need to blame for allowing these people to do these things to you. Maybe it is time to re-assess yourself and your decision making. I have been travelling as well, and been to so many places but I am very much aware that there are bad people anywhere and I never give anyone a chance to cause me any harm. I choose the place I go and people I will mingle, with lots of prudence. If anyone luckily succeeded on taking advantage on me then I leave that person and forget that place. Because I am not a tree, if there is anything or anyone that isn't good for me, then I don't need to stay and constantly ill-talking about that person, place and nation. If you think Philippines doesn't suit you then by all means, don't come. Choose a better place, choose better people. Do yourself a favor. 😉

@@weirdnomad8868 I lived in Thailand for 5 years. I had a Thai bf for 3 years and we lived together. That fizzled out and I had lots of short time bfs then. Then I met a Lao guy when on a visit there. He ended up living with me in Thailand for a bit and then came back to the UK with me and we married here. We were together for 12 years. That ended in 2018. So I've done nothing since then but just discovered Filipino guys and their English is so much better. Finding chatting with them is easier due to standard of English.

Don’t try to make this a “gay thing”. Straight Filipina women do the same. Don’t ever agree to meet the parents-that’s the Filipino equivalent of a proposal. Oh, the “silent treatment”? Learn the Filipino term “Tampo”😅
