My Atlas I got from you guys was the worst RC experience I've ever had. Esc broke in a few days, drives haft twisted and broke. Connection issues. I know you guys are really good and loved by many. I probably got a bad one. I'm hoping to get the 1/24 crawler or MaX Smasher one day or whatever it's called now, so you do not get sued by Traxxas. 🤦

Traxxas is the "Games Workshop" in the rc community. If you don't know.... GW has went to great lengths to remove the use of any third party materials from all reaches of they're games. Including but not limited to, 3d printed models, terrain and even dice. A large part of any hobby is the freedom to express yourself and make it your own. When you remove that aspect, it is no longer a hobby, it becomes a task with mandatory processes.

They've always been this way and always will. They've copied many other rc company's ideals on their early rc's. Then they turned around and sued for what other companies did. They even tried to sue HBO max since it was similar to the xmaxx name. Lmao I'm not sure how that ended in court. But they've sued many times over the dumbest of things. I really wished when they started out that some of the companies they copied parts from. Would've sued them to bankruptcy. Just a trashy company. I'll never buy new from them ever again. I've been that way since I first heard of them sueing armma way back when. From that moment on I've decided to never buy anything from Traxxas or any of the companies under their umbrella. Including rpm.

I only recently got into the hobby within the past 2 months. I've made 3 purchases so far, all Axial. I've been looking at adding a Traxxas crawler to my fleet and was inspired to do so by watching some of your videos as well as others. After hearing about the situation and their business practices, I've decided not to support their company and will look at giving my business to other companies. The upgrading and tinkering with aftermarket parts is one of the funnest aspects of the hobby. I enjoy your content and will continue to support your channel. Good luck, and keep up the good work!

I currently own a Traxxas TRX4M and it’s not terrible honestly. the parts are more if you buy traxxas parts and they aren’t the greatest. if you want to find some crawlers I would stick with axial. I am also new to the rc community

This really bums me out, I started with them and have been a very very loyal customer over the years, but I too am a little guy and the fact that the company that makes the rigs I love goes after guys like me.... I'm afraid I'm gonna be looking at other brands for the future. I'll keep what I have because they already have gotten my money for them, but anything needed to keep them going or any upgrades will absolutely not come from them. Traxxas has always came off to me as the “Vince McMahon” of the RC industry, and McKinney Texas is the “office in Stamford Connecticut!!!🤣Since the debut of the Tmaxx back in 99, it’s like they’ve owned the “intellectual property” of the word maxx. Hey Tony, before you go to the extreme of pushing all your inventory off. Reach out to Traxxas and maybe give them the opportunity to hear you and respectively. And I get sometimes people react emotionally. Traxxas may have done wrong, or may have communication may have been lost. You may just need the opportunity from them to be heard. Traxxas does well with all tge hobby shops, and alot of hobby shops rely on that Traxxas product. I get we give them our money, but their product does hold off pretty good . Just build yourself up and progress stronger.

I know I'm a year late but just today I supported my local hobby shop and Traxxas had to rebrand the Mudboss and the new name and box was on the counter, still with the name Mudboss scattered outside the box and on the product the owner told me. @@CCxRC In my opinion they’re only giving you the choice of what you really need for your build not everyone bash really hard most of them are beginners who don’t really push the limit they only want to customize their rc’s I don’t see the problem? Yes they’re overpriced we all know that but nobody is obligated to buying it.

20 yr TRX supporter here. My highly modded 2wd 'Pede, 95% stock TRX6 and xmaxx are a part of me. I'm not going to dump them. I will NOT however EVER buy a TRX factory car or part, used or in factory packaging. When I can't fix them, I will sell them broken. PHUCTHEM

My experience with Traxxas 22 years ago turned me off to the "hobby" since even then they treated me as though I wasn't worth their time unless I was spending thousands at a time. Just buying parts I was ignored and passed around by the sales reps. I quotationed hobby cause I felt Traxxas was never part of the hobby, just sales. They sell you toys. I returned to the hobby a few years ago starting with the scx24's. It was a tough choice... trx, scx, fms and so on. While Traxxas had a better hold on the market, their products seemed to focus on breaking parts so you would have to buy replacements or upgrades constantly. I'm very happy with my decision to go with Axial. I've had tons of fun creating rigs without the headache. Traxxas never again.

Traxxas should understand that KZbinrs are free advertising for their products. I don't make any money from my videos but I'm sure the tens of people who watch them might be interested in Traxxas from watching. Not to mention rc channels with a bunch of viewers.

The URL is for search engine optimisation so it needs to be accurate. I learnt about this whilst building a Shopify store. Traxxas are the complete opposite to Horizon. Horizon care about the hobby but Traxxas don't. You still have the TRX4M videos up on your KZbin. Good on you for keeping by your morals.
