This is the stock rustler vxl that comes with the car bro. I customised the front hood as u can see. I cut the front & put a screen on there, than dropped the hood so air goes thru the grill & comes out the top of the hood. Also cutout the rear & put a grill for better airflow to the fan & esc.

Bro, It looks really nice but if you would take off all that aluminum and put RPM parts you'll do the 80s mph, Unless you put a Castle mamba system just to carry all that weight, I did the same thing to all my Rustler that I've had built the ones for high speed were RPM parts, Good job thou

It`s for RIGIDITY, RPM is for flexibility, which you want for bashing. So YEAH, put a mamba in there to "carry all that weight", because at high speeds, a little wobble can get people hurt, and your car destroyed..

rpm is the way to go because if you break it you can get a replacement for free i have rpm on my rustler and only aluminum shock caps and steering crank

I just put a 5200kv brushless system on mine. I need a wheelie bar now lol. It’s fast and its only on a 7.4v baby battery.

I passed 95+ with valenron VXL and a 3s 5300 50c battery on stampede... I’m the fastes pede in Florida this very moment... you can try 35/72 set up and you’ll see..

I would think so too but my dad runs a Stampede 4x4 VXL With all that same aluminum stuff plus more and runs his harder than anyone I have ever seen. Never once has broken or bent an aluminum part. Now just difs and lower shock mounts constintly.

I put a 11.1 volt battery in on the stock setup and hit 75 mph with no room.. this thing is crazy fast

yes the VXL rustler . with the traxxas 25c 11.1 3 cell 5000 .. I've ran it about 20 minutes but not long enough to run the battery dead yet without crashing lol . the car comes with 2 gears one for high speed .. I haven't tried the high speed gear yet.

also , I've never felt any heat from the motor yet .. mainly because I can't give it much gas at a time I think. I tried using the beginner mode and that's the only time I felt the motor get hot

Great looking Rustler! I have a question: How much money (ballpark) do you think you have/had into this? I'm asking because my buddy has one like this that is *completely* customized. It was given to him years ago, and he/we have no idea what it should be worth?
