Absolutely keep! This kit is super yellow, but it's amazing when you have some other dark kit that you work on the same time with Unicorn it goes by fast, and these are the DAC v2 squares that were the best imo!

I absolutely love the colors in this one. I've learned recently from working on other kits, that the reds and yellows and oranges just make me really happy to work with. However... I saw this one compared to a vag* once in the dac group, and now I can't unsee it. 😅

Just think how fun it would be to bling this one up! I'd use special drills if you have them. Big rounds would be ideal. I have seen this completed and its gorgeous. I completed the other one like this called Rebirth Awaits and it was my favorite finish that year. All the yellows are powerful and you can't look away. If you decide to destash it will probably sell fast.

The image is certainly beautiful! But my vote is to let it go. I’m currently working on a monochromatic kit and I’ve learned that while I may love the image, I’m not enjoying as much actually diamond painting the monochromatic colors. I have so many other beautiful kits in my stash that I wouldn’t want to force myself to get through another monochromatic kit again.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors. I look at it and think, wow this would look good on my light yellow walls, lol. But I understand what you are saying, I passed up kits with a lot of the same color, just because I thought I would get tired of working on it. I would keep it, and just switch out with other kits if it got to be too much, which I have done with other large kits.

I think it lends itself to changing up e.g. glow in the dark drills, maybe crystal drills. Interesting and you could love it. It’s not my taste but I think that only you can decide that. Sorry if I’m not much help.

I had the same feeling about this one - I loved the image when I purchased it but as I learned what types of images I prefer to spend my time on, I decided to destash it. I still think the image is cool but I’m happy I sold it. Good luck deciding.

Let it go- lots of yellow and I did Flame blade Dragon about the same size but more red and orange. I got tired of it and would not have finished except my grandson wanted it. Yellow might be too much.

I personally love it and would keep but you don‘t seem to be as enthusiastic about this particular diamond painting. I say if the thought of diamond painting it makes you feel more like it‘s a chore or just something to get done, then it‘s a vote for „go“. If the thought of diamond painting this image makes you feel excited/ sparks joy for you, then it‘s a vote for „stay“. It really depends on how the thought of working on it makes you feel ☺️

Hello I'm new here! It would be a lovely finished piece I think but I would definitely get bored with all the yellow/oranges. I just finished one that was mostly dark greys and blues and it took me I kid you not like 2 years to finish. Because I was bored working on it so I just....didnt work on it

If it was me, I would keep it. Doesn’t sound like you are liking it, so I would let it go. But one thing…..yellow and orange are better than 310, and 939. Don’t be torn, chuck it and don’t look back.

This piece is gorgeous and would look stunning with a bunch of added special drills - BUT I think you really need to think of the process on this one. I like the image, but know for a fact I wouldnt enjoy working on the canvas - I'm also not drawn to yellows at all, and it seems like too much of a time investement in them.

To me it is difficult to recognize that it is supposed to be a Phoenix until you are super close to it. From a distance it just looks like a glowing brain. I personally would not invest time in doing that one.

The image is interesting, but the color scheme doesn't do it justice in my opinion. I would let it go, especially since listening to your tone as you describe it. I hear the "ugh" in your voice each time you mention the yellow. Could you get through it and end up with a well-done completion? Absolutely. I think I would probably get rid of it. The way you described it, and the hesitation that you have for the yellow and multi-placing, seem that you really aren't in it. Also, I don't know how you are, but it seems to be a bit more of an Oriental rather than European phoenix. Sometimes the difference between the cultures and art does make a difference to us Americans, because it is not what we are used to. Not that it is a good or bad, just that is how we humans work.
