Tony Williams and the rest of the original Platters lineup with one of their earliest songs (circa 1955) written by Buck Ram (I think).

The Platters were not the Platters without Tony Williams. He was a great singer. He died before his time.

Just beautiful.....this is a very hard to find song. I've loved it for decades. The voices, song and lyrics are truly beautiful. It all comes together with the "Original Platters." They've never been duplicated and it's sad that any group would even try. Their songs never grow old. Thanks for sharing!

One of the great Platters songs I grew up with in Manila, Philippines. I was in six grade going to 1st year high school in 1956 when I've first heard this beautiful song and I still remember its lyrics and tune after 63 years. Thank you much for posting, you're marvelous.

Thank you for your kind words. I was born in 1976, and I didn't really listen to their songs before 2000, when I noticed Tony Williams' outstanding voice. Comments like these makes KZbin much more interesting.
