Am I Overreacting? My Son Was Falsely Accused at School

Sue the school. They don't give out the information out, of who started these accusations. Okay. Fine. Then the school will pay for the childs distress. Wonder if at some point the school will actually give out some names

It's wild that a school would not do any punishment to students that falsely accuse another.

They have no previous disciplinary history, so when they do something that warrants starting it, we can't start it because they have no history. Just like next time, they'll get off without consequences because there's no history. The system works perfectly! Obviously at least one of the girls is related to someone connected to the admin.

NTA, I 100% agreee with you, you cannot lie about that and if you do you need to have consequences, that could really harm a guy's reputation, I would not stop until they pay for it, what they did is incredibly wrong.

The fact the school said there have been no previous issues with these girls make me think this was either their first offence or the three have gotten away with lying for too long and not gotten caught.

Do what my dad does because there was a similar situation when I was in high school with some girls bothering me. He threatened to go to the local news station if they didn’t do anything let’s just say my school acted swiftly. Because new stations will eat stories like this up.

Those girls have problems who makes up such things. The school should punishe them instead of giving the a pass the should know what they did is wrong.

You need a lawyer. The school had to disclose who made the report. They girls need to be punished. You need to sue the school and the parents. Take it as far as you can go.

I am disturbed there are classroom cameras, but I guess this is the upside of that. Still, Jesus what a world we are now in.

Also, no phones in class. Lockboxes outside every classroom or at the office. Phones locked all day or removable only during free periods. There's no need for them. There never was and still is not. On the rare occasion any child has an emergency, it is for the teacher and the office staff and/or nurse if there is one to initially respond and to call for help and then call the parents. [I assume that emergency means medical. I recognize no other kind.] This worked well in the past and still would. Frankly a kid in distress shouldn't have to f around on their own phone to get help, anyway. If a parent has some reason to contact the kid during class, which had better be a genuine family [medical] emergency, they too can go through the school. It was never a problem before. All other communication is a waste of time and should be prevented.
