I'm a schizophrenic Christian, and I have been accused of being posessed and such before. But in my case the Christian community around me has been very accepting and caring, they have shown me such love and have prayed for me to get healed and be blessed. Some people are just ignorant of what it means to be schizophrenic or mentally ill in any sense of the word, they are ignorant of the illnesses we suffer from. I'll pray for you too and I hope you get better.

I’ve prayed to god for almost 10 years to give me a simple sign of his existence. Being forced into Christianity my whole life is what made it hard to give up on god. I’ve been a nearly perfect Christian and no prayers were answered. Christians like to make excuses “god isn’t hearing your prayers because your a sinner” well... yes the Bible does say that and it also says we are all sinners but like I said I was nearly perfect. I feared god like all hell.

@AshleyRox12317 жыл бұрын
I was actually having this conversation with someone the other day and they were clearly on the side that believed praying to god would solve all of our issues, but I had to argue back. I have anxiety and depression and stuff and I told them how frustrating it is when someone says "you're sad? well, just pray a bit and you'll feel better!" but it's not that easy for people like us who have a mental illness. It's not just a mindset, it is a scientific difference in our brain compared to people without mental illness. And the thing is, I went to a catholic school my whole life and I don't mind people believing things, but when someone at my school was struggling, everyone just ignored it. When someone committed suicide once, they ignored it, they didn't honor the student at all or say to pray for his family, it was just brushed under the rug. It was very hypocritical.
@AshleyRox12317 жыл бұрын
I have to disagree with you. To an extent, I think that having a certain mindset can make things like anxiety and depression worse, but it's not like I chose to feel this way. I wouldn't wish how I feel on anyone and I didn't choose to 'live as a victim.' Things have happened in my life that have made me the way I am and if I could just flip a switch and turn it off, I would. Also, to add to the fact that I do not believe it is solely a mindset, it has been shown through brains scans and tests that people with mental illness have different results than those without. It's not something we can control.

Jacob, I hope you consider this (I apologize for length): Those people telling you these things are very incorrect. Jesus said, "Those who are healthy do not need a doctor, but the sick do." (Mt. 9:12) There's nothing improper with you getting treated for an illness. It's never a "lack of faith." Neither is it because of one's lack of faith that bad things happen. God doesn't do this to people. Jesus also said, "Do you think that those 18 on whom the tower in Siloam fell, killing them - do you think that they had greater guilt than all the men in Jerusalem? No, I tell you!" (Lu. 13:3-5) And their saying that God creates people disabled, autistic, mentally ill, etc., is grossly wrong and actually brings reproach on him. God says, When under trial (which includes these illnesses), let no one say, 'I am being tested by God.' For with bad things God does not test anyone." (James 1:13) Just considering these few things, shows us the truth about God and illness. There are many other things about what the Bible really says about facts, logic, and using your power of reason. But for lack of soace and time, they cannot be discussed here.

dude i really like you alot Ive watched alot of your videos. I'll tell ya what happened to me, I had a pretty good mental health diagnosis since i was born, then around 24 years old I got into the paranormal I started ghost hunting on a serious level. I started notcing something soon after. Started off being very obsessive about certain things then started seeing things, and hearing voices. At first I thought it was cool, like hey I brought something home from somewhere I investigated. Well not so cool, I got jumped into by entities on several occasions, I'll tell ya man it scared the ever living crap outta me! So I saw a psychiatrist., he diagnosed me bi polar schizophrenia. Honestly I think an exorcism would help me. These entities have shown me signs they are demonic. Mostly I get constant mind games, they really know how to play with someones head. You sir have seen some SERIOUS shit! My favorite vid of yours is an early one schizophrenic on a bad day! I know it may sound crazy but it helps me too see someone kinda going through the same thing. Me and you would get along great man. Whats going on with the ET hallucinations?

Hi, I have schizophrenia and all those things, I had a voice in my head and we went to all the psychiatrist and all those people and nothing worked just the same as before, so we went to a psychic medium which is a person that deals with ghost, so I had to talk to the entity which I have never done before! All I said was to leave in a strong voice, with the help of the psychic medium. Now I have no voice! It’s not a demon it’s just a simple, little weak ghost. So I hope that helps, “I think”that you should go to a person that deals with ghost like a medium.

I totally agree with that we as believers don't have to 'push' our ideas to others, but for you to be aware of in this world, there are much spiritual forces happening everywhere in this world. To Waylon Roberts, at least you are being open about you being a christian who has schizophrenia. I have an older brother who is definitely schizophrenia. He is a major smoker, paces up and down on our house, likes saying the F word, BTH word comes out of his mouth from time to time. I am sorry that you are going through this at the moment. One thing I do want to say is that Satan is working at the moment and trying to do deceive everyone and trying to do everything in his power to brake up relationships, and so forth. But I know God will have the ultimate say in everything when Jesus comes back. Yes we are these last days, we need to Jesus before He comes back. When Jesus comes back, every soul will be given one more chance to either have Jesus and enter his Kingdom or go back into the world and it destructiveness. I know you I will follow and who I will worship and who I will spend with all eternity. That is with Jesus! Brother in Christ Matt

@Jacob Bowman Hi I’m a Christian and I do help others with Deliverance and no your not possessed by Demons now it’s possible you could have a Mental Illness but it’s possible you might have Spirits of Oppression it could be possible it could be a Spirits that cause Illnesses you should do research on this but it’s true we are all in a spiritual war and God did not give you this illness but it doesn’t hurt to research this just think it’s possible that you could be healed … God gives his faithful gifts some of us can see these Demons (me) others could heal (not me) and there are other gifts that Christians have and the closer our relationship is with God the stronger our gift gets so let’s say for example … I do deliverance on someone it could take me a few hours to get this spirit out while someone that has a stronger relationship with God could do it in an hour or less … now to know if you have a spirit or spirits inside you I would have to ask you questions and discern if you do have them now someone with a real strong relationship with God don’t have to ask you any questions he would cause you to manifest just by being near you and talking to you about God but like I said do your research on getting Deliverance and it’s free you have nothing to lose if it’s a mental problem then nothing will change and you leave and go home but let’s say there a chance you can be cured wouldn’t that be a beautiful thing? Just think about this ok in the end it will be your choice to make … God gave us all free will and Demons will attack us in different ways they search our weakness but in the end it’s our choice to sin or not to sin the Demons ultimate goal is to keep us away from God … God Bless You PS I’m not asking you to get off your meds stay on them if you decide to try getting Deliverance it will work with you on meds or off meds for the power of Jesus effects the spirits directly even with you on meds ok

I have major depressive disorder, and I've had the misfortune of my mother's husband screaming at me for not being Christian, and what an idiot I am for not being one. He also made sure to tell me that I was possessed by a dark spirit , and how only evil people wear black. I use to wear black a lot at the time. I've since made sure to spend as little time with him and my mother as possible. They're also in no hurry to spend time with me either. I assume it's because of political and religious reasons. It's sad when people don't know how to be family. When it comes to the religious, many are smug and full of hubris, and lack all manner of mercy, compassion, and empathy. They openly choose ignorance, and call it faith. My experience growing up Christian was entirely toxic, and it did nothing but damage. I don't even want to get into it. My mother does not remotely even care how I feel about religion. Like her husband, she just wants me to shut up and obey so she can feel good about herself. I don't argue with her, I just let her talk. These people act like they're trying to save you, when it's really all about them and that sweet validation they get when they're able to convert someone. It's all about them and their hunger for religious validation. If it's not, then why do the religious get so angry and outright violent when you refuse to validate them? I have repeatedly been threatened with violence by Christians. That's been my personal experience with them. Oh, and not only am I mentally ill, but I'm also gay, so there's that. Apparently I'm confused, too stupid to know I'm straight, because God don't make gay people apparently. If this loving merciful God even exists, why does he allow his followers to act like this? If Jesus is the example, why do they keep doing the opposite?

I can see two perspectives. One where the devil has taken over people and made them have a mental illness, and another is your point where you explain that it’s a brain disorder and it’s not your fault you’re diagnosed with one/many. I have spoken about my mental illness to friends, especially someone who is highly religious and then telling me that it’s the devil who has done this. I’m still analyzing my thoughts for two but I support and understand your point. I’m still neutral about totally believing in God since I don’t like following specific ways to live (that’s another conversation) but do what makes you feel good. I support you.
@ariannaadventures7 жыл бұрын
And for anyone who will respond to this: I’m not uneducated because I don’t believe in God. I’m definitely not that religious but I’m surrounded by people who are, which makes it quite uncomfortable because I can’t see myself in their position. It’s quite a ride my friends. So please don’t go off blasting me. Thanks.

The explanation is, that those people think that you can influence your subconscious, by praying and believing in God that he can help you. And sometimes someone is able to heal his/her illness by believing that this illness doesnt belong to his/her body. The figure of "God" is like a helping symbole so that they have something pray to. Thats's the thing I think.
@gfonderico7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this video! The only thing I feel to say about this whole thing is: I’m not religious, I don’t believe in a god, I believe in science and everything that is rational and proven. Anyway, I find myself sometimes thinking that I just need more. I mean, I can imagine what religious belief could feel like, I think it would feel good, but all I believe in is the truth, right? But I also have the need to feel good. I must also say I don’t have any major mental illness, I do deal with depression and anxiety, but nothing that can be compared to your condition. So now, my point. If a Christian is telling me that when he prays he feels better, so in order to feel better maybe I should try and pray to God, I say: ok thank you, that is some advice I probably will not consider but I understand you’re trying to help me so thanks. A person telling me I should stop my medication, for any reason be it religion-related or not: no, you don’t know what you’re talking about, you’re dangerous, stop it. One last thing, I found some help in meditation, with some Buddhist guys, and I find the whole Buddhist argumentation very interesting as it kind of resembles the scientific method in some points: it’s a way to try and give sense to life and everything using some kind of logics. I don’t really believe in all that stuff but I like the approach and the anthropological side of it. By the way I don’t know what kind of impact would the study of this kind of stuff have on someone who has hallucinations and has to reality-check on a regular basis. What do you think? Thanks again for your videos, you’re great.

Personaly. I always wondered: Why are they always negative and often or heavy male/demonic voices. Or downward cruel critical about the person who is suffering from it. Since we live in a secular society, u will see no doctor remotly touch this topic.

SimplyLimbo I want to know why whenever someone is severely possessed then why when someone has an exorcism and use Jesus name they seem fine afterwards?? I've witnessed people being delivered it's unreal! I mean I don't think this guy here is possessed but he could be tormented by something spiritual.
@SimplyLimbo7 жыл бұрын
Rachael Moule I never denied possesion is real. I tried to explain that for some reason 95% of the times its negative and a mans/demonic voice. Regarding hardcore possesions. I know they happened. I have a catholic background. The vatican rareley talks about specific cases, but some cases we know for sure: The true 'Emily Rose', her real name is "Annelies Michel", a part of the audio of the exorcism is on youtube. How can people know what u did ? Name things u never told anybody ? How can they suddenly speak dead languages while they never had it in school or otherwise ? And curse in those languages ? Making things move, levitate etc. Another one. The movie "possesion" is also based on a true story, and it follows the story pretty good. The boy had a good contact with his aunt, but his aunt was into wicca & ouija bords, and she did those things with him. After the aunt died, the boy started to change, and there was paranormal activity. And there are more cases like this. But they dont release names for the sake of the families and trauma the victim has because of it. I dont believe easily in possesion. Those people in baptist churches, who come in and never had any problens & suddenly start telling and screaming ? Thats not possesion but "autosuggestion" believe me, the moment u encounter a real possesion, there will be no place for doubt, and you'll "know"...

SimplyLimbo yeah I am sure I didn't say you denied possession I was agreeing with you. I am sure some people at insane wards that are in severe distress might be possessed for sure.

Here we are at the dark side of the Moon. HAHAHA. Can't believe I'm dealing with this. Isaiah Saldivar mentions getting deliverance for schizophrenia but I honestly don't know. I can even keep you posted because I'm going to stop CBD and double check on the schizo demon.

I am a bible believing Christian and my dad used to say that you don't need help with mental issues, just pray. I believe in both. I have Social Anxiety, PTSD, IBS and colitis and I have had a lot a trauma in my life. I see the right doctors and therapists, take the medication that they prescribe as well as pray for help. I understand how you feel and how you believe. I would never push my beliefs on you or anyone else, EVER. I will pray for you just because that is what I believe in. But def keep taking your meds. I hope you are doing better now.

I really feel like there's so much stigma nowadays about mental ilness. I mean, as soon as anyone says they are mentally ill every religious person just starts talking about their beliefs. People it's 21st century, nobody is supposed to tell others things such as "Pray to Jesus" or "Pray to God and His saviour" or whatever. It's stupid. And also, it's everyone's choice to believe in anything they want or don't want to believe in. Leave your beliefs and thoughts for yourself because it does do harmful things to not so mentally well ones.

I believe in mental illness but I also believe in demonically related activities... There are many minute differences between mental illness and demonic oppression, They're not the same, so by telling someone who has demons, that they're mentally ill,is very degrading, and vice versa.... There are stark differences between the two if you know your stuff about both topics

God allows a lot of bad things to happen.. but He's not to blame. Horrible things like suffering, pain, and death are part of living in a fallen creation that's been ran by sin and Satan. If you care about truth, try calling on the Lord Jesus Christ. He doesn't promise physical healings or an easy life, but He does promise peace and eternal life when you put your trust in Him. Just call on Him, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. I'll be praying for you, God bless. -Aubriel

First of all, I’m so sorry that people have implied that u r possessed. As far as I’m concerned, the people who make the case for that r those who walk into a church or other venue and start shooting people in cold blood. Second, you look so handsome with those lamb chop sideburns. Not every guy is lucky enough to grow those. Love and peace to you , and continue to educate us about schizophrenia.

Yes, there is a spiritual aspect to any so-called mental illness.
@livingamongvultures7367 жыл бұрын
the problem is , people cant understand these kind of illness because they cant see that . they remember when you were ok and its hard to understand how you became like this . they try to solve their paradoxes and try to link your problem to something out of you . also if we agree to their opinion the answer is this only way that human can do that yet and it is solving this problem as an illness because there is no way to have a good discussion with demons to make a peace and telling them to leave :)) but it may help dude . you can do all way to get healthy in same time . you can use medicines and get help from religions and have a discussion to demons and try to forget all things about your illness and be happy and every other ways that would help . who knows ?

The desire to spread ones beliefs is inherent in mankinds nature. This is what I believe "be fruitful and multiply" actually means. They use this as a means to condemn the gays however it isn't talking about the lesser goal of propagating your genetic code... it's about propagating what I call the Spirit. The modern christians don't understand the book they preach. It's not demons, I believe they are anscestors without a descendant to welcome them into them, so they wander in spirit homelessness. Personally, I simply welcomed them in when I was going to eat or smoke a ciggy or whatever I thought they might enjoy experiencing again. Then I would focus on whatever it was I invited them to experience. Worked for me. Diffused the negative sensation of their presence and I believe they have given me a variety of gifts. Many of which came from skills or traits they possessed in their life. I never could dance for 40 years and now I'm pretty dang fluid and natural at it. There's many other things but that's the easiest example. I made vids on my channel dealing with what I believe mental illness is and what it is not. Also one titled "Cognitive Dissonance" which goes into what I believe is the root of most mental conditions based on my own experimentations on myself. Another one called "Spiritual Armor" that imo provides a good defense against the experience of paranoia. Like the names "seemingly" being hurled at you while you are experiencing it. Just things I've come to at 56 from experiencing stuff most cannot imagine let alone attempt to grasp. I've studied many subjects from the Bible, to its roots and compilation by Roman Emperor Constantine, to it's early history to it's roots in many mythologies starting with Egyptian, to quantum theory, to psychology which not only lead me to figuring out my own problems but also allowed me to detect a much larger problem within modern mankind. Anyway, good luck and hope my journey can benefit you.

I've been struggling with schizophrenia but mine was 100% induced by demonic possession and prayer and renouncing sin freed me. But there is real mental illness and sorry people don't understand the difference but from what I see you could have real mental illness but you will never know until you try and the way you talk down on religion is a tell tale sign i was the same way but only you know. I was horrible hearing voices making things up in my head literally seeing things but you shouldn't denounce the chance that deliverance can save someone when it does everyday and I'm not saying it's the way for you as people do have real mental illness but it is real I literally felt the demons leave my body and was 100% better after.
