You probably already know that, but don't let your own mistakes bother you too much. Everyone makes them, twitch chat is just good at spotting them. It' s always easier to spot the mistakes when you're not a part of the game :)

Speaking of denying teammates, you can do it under one of these circumstances : The hero got a debuff from -Venomancer's Q skill -Queen of pain's Q skill -Doom's Doom (ulti) And of course, their hp need to go below 25%. It is common to deny them if you know they won't survive untill the last tick. But if you have something personal for your teammates, you know you just gotta do it anyway kekw

You're my favourite wc3 content creator so I'm happy to see you play my favourite moba! Hope you can enjoy and keep to it and not get turned off by all the possible toxicity.. You know wc3 inside out and the mechanics are very similiar to dota. You can manipulate creeps on the lane by a-clicking enemy heroes, then running back. Auto attacking enemy heroes will make the enemy creeps focus you for a few seconds, allowing you to pull their melee creeps back to your ranged creep if they are harassing you. If they then try to harass you, they will pull aggro from your melee creeps and take a lot of damage.

For courier unless you need to micro for some reason I usually just literally click on the arrow on the bottom right. That way it gives you your item and then goes home automatically. if you are scared you will forget then sending it to wait in trees further back and then pressing the arrow is easiest. Also regarding tangoes, instinctively one thinks it's a waste if you're not low, but even if you're only missing 100 HP, you can plant a branch, eat the tree, and then use the buff to your regen to trade hits while healing. Think of it as a regen buff, not as a healing consumable.

I haven't seen rosh done lvl1 in ages, but a few years ago at least, if you picked certain heroes, your team could go and kill rosh at level 1. Of course back then bounty runes didn't spawn at game start in the river, so enemies didn't have much incentive to scout that place. Now they roam all over, so this kind of shenanigans would be much harder to hide from the enemy.

Gruubsterz, welcome to the dark side :). I would say the best way to accelerate your learning curve is to watch some pro games honestly you would pick up a lot of stuff from them just watching. In this game i would say most importantly when you carry is not to waste time standing still, obviously you are still learning everything so its hard, but carry is very intense like that you cant stop farming not even for a second, also use Mana when you jungle creep to go faster if your Mana is full.

One big thing is camera position you need to have to more towards the enemy so you can see whats going on in lane especially early. Don't center the camera on your hero, make it more like 70 - 30 towards the enemy or creep wave. Then for example if Jugg goes on them you can see if they kill him then come after you and react faster. With centered camera you cannot see whats going on at all. Also holding ALT not only shows creep camp pull etc but will show global HP's under the portraits at the top. Useful for heros like BS, NP and others. Quick tp kill for BS if you see their hp low.

Grubby there are hero lineups that can take rosh at level 1 even before the bounty runes spawn. It’s been done in pro games but it’s very rare.

I will keep trying to tell you this because it is a good habit throughout all MMR levels and it is in your capability to do even as a beginner. Farm Range Creeps at all cost and try a little bit to deny ‘em. Use skills, sacrifice HP, Mana or whatever. Just prioritize range creeps

It's important to know that deaggroing doesn't force things to stop attacking you, it forces them to retarget. The reason this distinction is important is because in some situations, you can be retargeted if you are doing something that makes you a top priority. For example, if you deaggro when there is nothing else to attack, they will still attack you. There is a handful of situations where even if you deaggro you will still be targeted

The chat is so annoying in these games. Low mmr outdated suggestions. Like the 40% of the chat saying he should buy an eye of skadi in his Arc warden game... When he's going a spell build with gleipnir + aghs. Right click build is really suboptimal after the tempest double changes in 7.31 patch, and he lost the lifesteal talent. His spell talents + aghs is insane

It's not a good idea to have both melee carries in one lane. Always either solo lane one of them and go the other lane 3 or one carry and one support to body guard him. Carries are very gold dependent and you steal each others gold. You can use Q skill as well on enemy casters (int heroes) to disable them from casting. Or you could skill him more to a nuker then an A-Clicker. For example force staff with your ult or even high level Dagon is a good combo. When buying items for a bigger one I normally go for the most expensive item first. i.e. Eaglesong for Butterfly. Overall not too shabby first game. GJ Grubby

You’re steady improving grubby, keep it up! Probably don’t lane with a jug though D: and there are different type of carries such as ones that have insane fighting damage but low tower damage (e.g bloodseeker, slark, spectre) and then there’s carries like AM and lone druid that has limited fighting abilities but much better at taking objectives (towers, roshan, etc).

chronosphere stop anything who step in thats not void, morphling morphed to void can move and rubic who casted chrono too but enemy void in that chrono can move as well, jugg has good base attack time 1.4 when most of heroes has 1.7 it means he will hit faster than nearly all (only antimage and melee troll warlord has 1.4 too, alhemist on ulti can have 1.0 ) heroes with same atack speed bonuses from skills and items, is much better for proc chance items , bloodseeker is more utility durable core it was one of best offlaners some time ago (blademail, halberd, abbysal, cuirass), play brewmaster as offlaner, on mid can be played on rest roles is not good, for tanky oponents first aganim than blink, against paper heroes or units go radiance than blink to bkb/aganim/halberd ,some ppl say radiance is bad item but on hero with bad attack speed is good for fast farming lvling and bulling supports and killing summons , dont overuse blue spirit cyclone you can ruin fight with this like with bad casted bane's nighmare, your job in teamfight is to off core from hitting with w miss chance, if enemy core get monkey king bar you need to start from cyclone or halberd coz mkb pierce evasion, kill supports than core, care for mana bm has mana problems , buy soul ring or arcane boots (to disassemble later and make octarine or lotus) and have always sticks coz without ult you will die fast, you can build like beastmaster too dominator,vlads, drums, ags it realy viable but is kinda silly glhf

grubby i dono'd a lot this match because i had time during my schedule to watch. i pushed abyssal blade this game on you because your silencer was having a very nice game mid, and if you could keep the void off him just for a few seconds, your silencer would have killed him. while abyssal isnt always the best item for bloodseeker, this game in this situation it was. your chat spammed how bad of a dono i was, but i have no qualms coming out and saying im a 4k player. im not on dendi level, but i am in the top 90% of dota players. take it for what you will :) also got to see your arc warden games last night. you have the item understanding of a herald player, but the mechanics of a divine. its actually insane. i think once you learn the item pool and hero abilities of what they can do to you, you'll reach divine in no time.

once he know the limitations of the hero he uses he's easily 4k-4.5k mmr but right now he's probably 2k and that's alright since he's doing a-z challenge but once he's finished with that and start practicing his favorite heroes he's gonna be really good and I'm so excited to see that.

@@FollowGrubby just gotta use them, and various heroes use them better than other heroes. also items change every single patch, and they form new metas constantly. most of the tortellini and gaiman guides are very good for generic play, but they don't cover specific scenarios. for example, i dont think any of the guides mention raindrop, but raindrop is insanely good early game for supports especially if you're up against bursty magical damage heroes like skywrath, lina, lion, puck. those things you'll pick up the more you play.
