The sexiest car ever designed. i had one in 2008 when it run right it is the best car in the world so perfect in every way UNTIL !! alarm sysytem kept going off for no reason, heater matrix stuck in either cold or hot randomly, air suspension failed at only 20k miles £8,000 cost to replace. batteries dead after 1 week standing, despite new batteries. moisture entered via roof seals. Which drove me mad. BUT Still today i loved the car when all runs well so brilliant in looks and to drive.. damn i miss it being honest despite costing stress and thousands to maintain.. at £6,500 you got a bargain.. Check air suspension although i am told cheaper replacements are available nowadays should it need them.

Had a 350sl 2006 facelift for six years. Lovely drive. Watch out for roof pump, boot lock, auto sticking, tax, air con, springs break. Very cheap these days but keep some cash in reserve. Any SH on it?

I’ve got a SL350 and I’ve always got the rear battery on trickle charge. It’s a car you can’t leave standing for long without one, the electronics consume so much. I like this mint example some questionable modifications but nothing bad. Did you get it for £6.5k?

I had a privete plate on a Honda motorbike which got stolen (not recoverd) waited 5 years then asked DVLA too put the plate on my newish Skoda car which I paid £9,000 then car prices rocketed (after Covid) I put car reg in WeBuyAnyCar and was offered £12,000 I went to my local office too be told the cars fine but the private plate was registered as stolen too a Honda motobike - I got the old plates back on the car and sold the car to WeWantAnyCar for £12,500 - I thnk DVLA had not updated there records or somthing like that.

Surely if that has a stolen marker on it you are at risk of being stopped by the police, not really smart driving it about until the stolen marker is removed, won't that also void your trade insurance ? 😮 Also please change that awful rear tinted number plate 🤢
