The pull rates for Temporal Forces are the hardest of the Scarlet & Violet block for Special Illustration Rares and Hyper Rares. This is according to data from TCGplayer, which used a sample size of over 8,000 booster packs. Special Illustration Rares are almost twice as rare as Paradox Rift‘s and 2.7x rarer than earlier Scarlet & Violet sets. You can get 1 out of 86 packs. In Paradox Rift, they were in 1 out of 47 packs. Before then, the rate was 1 out of 32 packs.

​@@pokedaddycards Pull rates constantly change. So luck goes in and out. What you have to remember. The reason pull rates change. Its more regional. Finding the locations of good pull rates is the key. They switch everything around. Everyone gets an opportunity for a good experience. The reason I know this is because I am a trucker. I am tracking pull rates in different regions. I can not go to every region of the USA. But I can tell you for a fact. If you are chasing certain cards. The window for finding the cards are short. If you are on target. The states close by will have similar pulls. Good luck.

Temporal Forces pull rates are crazy hard to hit. I did buy a box and pulled a decent amount though

There are error decks, I've had one with no code card. A booster with ex and full art. But the duplicates are just too much. I had 3 packs completely identical... I hope etb's are better I've only been opening the 6 packs and singles so far. But man is this feel like such a money pit. Hope the values are comparable to the scarcity of pulls 😅

The Golds and the SIRs are much harder to pull in Temporal Forces, which is a bit sad since I got a Temporal Forces booster box for my birthday. BTW Buddy Buddy Poffin is actually worth a dollar as it is very competitive, so don't throw it in your bulk.

Last point you made is very true, Master Ball and perhaps a few others too. I can't recall the exact card text / effect from Buddy Poffin but I've seen it included in at least one post rotation deck idea from AzulGG, Charizard ex for memory 🔥

I just had a look at the card text and thought it allowed the player to search for up to 2 basics with 70hp or less from their deck, place them onto their bench and then shuffle their deck? I thought it may have been somewhat of a Nest Ball replacement? I'm relatively new to the TCG though, always keen to learn 😊

SV booster boxes were defo seeded with 2x SIR... or 1x SIR and 1x Gold for the previous sets, and around 11-14 pulls. I'm pretty sure you'd always get 2-3 SRs and 2-3 full arts as well. Not to mention double banger packs. They've 100% tampered with the pull rates.

The thing i find discouraging... Is not the rarity of top ten pulls... Its the fact that all the other pulls arnt worth the price of the pack they come in...

Gold cards are always so cheap compared to other rare cards like SIR or literally any Charizard, it makes their rarity not worth it at all.

I think they started the no double bangers in Paradox Rift... Can't get hits in both a holo slot and a reverse holo slot in the same pack. Paldean Fates had double bangers but only in the two reverse holo slots since shinies were in the first reverse slot... This set continues that, but with ace spec instead of shiny... So packs in this set have 5 configurations for the last 3 cards: 1) Reverse/Reverse/Holo | 2) Reverse/Reverse/ex or Full Art | 3) Reverse/(S)IR or HR/Holo | 4) Ace Spec/Reverse/Holo | 5) Ace Spec/(S)IR or HR/Holo | Anything else would probably be an error pack.

I got 1 pack from a PC ETB that had a Reuniclus IR in the second reverse slot and a regular Walking Wake ex in the rare slot. I feel that these packs are "errors", tho. Danny said he only pulled one that fits this criteria in the just over 2,000 packs he ripped. The Ace Spec followed by an (S)IR seems to be the intentional and more common double banger pack for this set.

The pull rates in this set are definitely the toughest for scarlet and violet era so far. Does make it pretty sweet though when you’re lucky enough to pull a special illustration card or a gold.

I've found the pull rates pretty low in this set so in my head and please correct me if I'm wrong.(I'm relatively new to collecting) The price of the set may be lower as it isn't as entertaining to be burning through packs with no reward but, the price of singles should be high as there are less in circulation? Imma get me another booster box this week 👽

I believe pull rates are considerably low for this set for SIRs compared to other s/v sets. Definitely not unlucky Edit: just finished the video, he is actually in fact lucky 🍀

Pull rates are in fact about twice as bad as they were for SV base, PE, and OBF. Went from roughly 1 SIR/booster box to 1 SIR/2 booster boxes, it’s tough

I feel that the harder pull rates are an interesting thing to do. On one hand, you have a harder time pulling the chase. But the excitement of getting that chase feels all the sweeter.

I am sorry that you didn't have good luck with your pulls. I got 2 of the 6 pack booster bundles and I was able to pull some pretty decent cards. I got several EX cards and some rare holos. Some of the best cards I pulled were Hero's Cape 152/162, Charjabug 169/162, Minccino 182/162, Walking Wake 189/162, and Gengar EX 193/162. I will probably pick up 2 more of the same packs.

Buying all 6 of the SARs in Japanese for the price of like 2 SIRs I what I djd. And the texturing is infinitely better. The cards legitimately look like different rarities almost. Like Walking Wake vs Walkjng Wake Ultra. Or something. But opening packs is SUPER FUN and I know you need English to compete in most tournaments and World’s and all that. I’m just saying - Japanese texturing on these SARs for even cheaper than the English counterparts? Seems almost too good to be true. Loved the video. Glad you did much better this session.

I pre-ordered a special collection package from the UK that's arriving Friday. It comes with a booster box, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves ETBs, 3 pack blister with Cleffa and one with Cyclizar, a premium checklane blister with Baxcalibur and another with Togekiss, plus a free booster pack for pre-ordering. Reason I ordered from that site was I wanted to check out their Mystery boxes (getting 2 of the $100 Ultra and 1 of the $50 mystery boxes). I'll let you know how my pull rate is on Temporal Forces from the UK once I get them.

Me and my partner have opened 4 etbs and 2 of the 3 pack blisters. Not pulled any SIRs or gold cards yet, but got 4 ace specs... 2 of which came from 1 etb. Got a booster box to open at some point, so wish us luck!

hey rev as far as i have seen the pull rates have been decreased making it harder to complete the sets this might be bcause they wanne influence this set as a high end price set meaning the 4 or 5 hardest cards to get will go for a lot of money this will make people buy more packs/boosters in hope they hit the top dogs (1 of the 4/5 hardest to find cards) hope this makes sence. For me gold cards have been way easier to pull. I've opened around 130 packs and only pulled 1 SIR, but I've pulled 6 gold cards (3 of them were the same card though so batching is a serious issue).

In my first ETB I pulled a gold card and my wife pulled the Walking Wake SIR from her ETB. In my first booster bundle I pulled an ACE-SPEC card and the Bianca trainer full art. I think it's just a luck thing, to be honest.

Last week I opened 36 sleeved packs. I got 1 IR, 2 FA, and 2 ace spec cards. It crushed me a bit. Yesterday I saw 2 sleeved cases opened. The first one had 0 SIRs. The second one had 3. This set is all over the place and I don't like it lol.

I opened 3 boxes and pulled the SIR gauging fire which was my chase card and a gold walking wake. Nothing else. Pull rates were incredibly bad. I’m glad I pulled my chase because I can’t afford to open anymore considering how rare it is to get a SIR

I think after coming off of 151 and PF (and if you bought any recent Japanese sets via TikTok), people are conditioned to seeing a pull in every other pack. It's easy to forget how horrendous the pull rate was for SV base set, PE and OBF. To be fair, PR wasn't good either. All I got were EX cards and few full arts from that.
