2003, we received a devastating diagnosis. Naturally, we acquired a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck to convert to our concept of an ExpeditionVehicle. . Within a week -- while selling everything -- we completed our build, and hit the road from Oregon with the vague goal of 'south'. . Twenty-four months twenty-four thousand miles around South America. Alaska, Panama, all over North and Central America. Summers up rough logger tracks to remote mountain lakes. Winters on isolated Baja beaches. . Over two decades full-time live-aboard. Our rig is constantly evolving.

Balancing a full time job, Covid, Brexit et al, it took me four years to build our Fuso - so don't feel too bad about being two years into it. Quality, quick, cheap - on any project like this, at best one can only achieve two out of those three attributes.

Hi Bruce. Thanks for all the videos. It has been part of my weekly dose of inspiration to help me stayed focused on my own build which I am happy to say is coming on leaps and bounds all of a sudden. It's been great fun to watch, though a little close to home at times when I think back to our build and the usual challenges we all face when building the truck we really want. It's a thousand times better to take the time dance to your own tune. Looking forward to see what 2024 has in store! On our little truck; about a week ago we took part in a video, along with another Canter, to help out an auto journalist friend. @BruceandKrista LOL. Small world. I was talking to a buddy of mine in M6. He's only been there a few yrs. So he transferred the boats well after the Feehan. He was telling me about a Canadian company that was delivering a new boat to a unit in Texas that was having engine problems and had to make a pit stop in NY. It turned out to be an easy fix fuel problem, and with some help from our engineers, they were able to continue on their way south. I never realized so many FD boats came out of Canada. I'm just a naive engine man from the Bronx. 😁 Great channel, looking forward to future videos.
