1. Mental Rehearsal and Visualization Visualization: Spend time visualizing yourself grappling in a fight situation. Picture yourself executing techniques calmly and effectively, just like you do in the gym. This mental rehearsal can help your mind and body feel more prepared when you're actually in the ring. Positive Affirmations: Use positive self-talk to boost your confidence. Remind yourself of your skills and the hard work you've put in. Replace any negative thoughts with empowering ones. 2. Simulate Fight Conditions Live Sparring with an Audience: Try to simulate the fight environment in your training by having more people watch your sparring sessions. This can help you get accustomed to performing under pressure. Fight Week Routines: Replicate your fight-day routine in practice. This includes warming up, getting into the mindset, and treating a sparring session as if it’s a real fight. 3. Controlled Breathing and Relaxation Techniques Breathing Exercises: Practice controlled breathing techniques, like box breathing (inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4). This can help calm your nerves and keep you focused. Stay Relaxed: Focus on staying relaxed in the ring. Tension can make you stiff and slow down your reactions. Stay loose and remember to breathe. 4. Gradual Exposure to Pressure Gradual Increase of Pressure: Start with smaller audiences or lower-stakes matches and gradually build up to larger crowds or more significant competitions. This can help you acclimate to the pressure over time. Compete Often: The more you compete, the more comfortable you'll become with the pressure. Regular competition can make the lights feel less intimidating. 5. Focus on the Process, Not the Outcome Process-Oriented Mindset: Instead of worrying about winning or losing, focus on executing your techniques and following your game plan. Concentrate on the present moment and what you need to do, rather than the result. 6. Sports Psychology Consult a Sports Psychologist: If this issue persists, it might be helpful to consult a sports psychologist. They can provide tailored strategies to help you manage anxiety and perform under pressure. 7. Embrace the Nerves Channel Your Nervous Energy: Understand that feeling nervous is normal and can be used to your advantage. Nervous energy can keep you sharp if you learn to channel it positively.

Such a great explanation of the perspective of which you observe a punch (spectator vs fighter)! I feel like there is something more to it, but I don't have an explanation of what that is. Maybe it has to do with how far away this starts from, i.e. the opponent doesn't expect you to be successful covering all this distance and actually landing, almost like "I see he's moving, but there is no way he lands a punch starting so far away" + the distance measuring flow you mentioned. IDK what it is, but it's special! Looking forward to seeing you back, MVP!

Big fan here... Been waiting for UFC to pick you up. I know what i'm saying doesn't matter. But, MVP just go for the KO agressively. I feel you lost because of waiting to much. Maybe visit Extreme Couture for 6 months. Huge respect from a Danish Dude.

MVP still goated. The people making calls on his team clearly are trash, but he, himself knows what he has to do to win fights. If coach told him to rush that Undefeated bumb he fought last fight, he would've easily won.

UFC is more fun with you in it. I just like to watch you fight. People might think that you're a pretty striker only they need to go watch the fight in BKFC with Mike Perry. Mike Perry is a dog. Michael Venom Page is as equal a dog. Besides truning Garry into Khabib. 🍻🇺🇲

During the Garry fight I wish you were able to get out of those BJJ positions, because you were smoking him on the feet. It goes without saying that you wanted to get out as well, duh. Hopefully next time you feel more comfortable grappling so you can keep the fight where you want it 👊.

I personally think if someone going for two belts the heavier man and the lighter man need to meet equally in the middle for instance class it as a super fight heavier man has to loss a little bit of weight lighter man has to put on a little bit of weight and this way both of the Champions have a chance to get to belts the fans would love it and it would be amazing for The Fighters
