Man respect for showing the failed friction fire attempt. Making a kit out of scratch after living off the land for a month, and having the strength...gotta be hard.

Hey Amos, regarding your bowl carving, you could also use some nice sized coals from the fire to roll around in the bowl and burn out the wood as well. Like a small dugout canoe.😀

Great job, Amos! I know you're both tired and have mixed feelings about leaving. I just wonder what the mindset would be if you were like the 1830s mountain men, when there was no going home. I know you could both could do it, but your mindset would be much different. You would have had to keep going, no matter what. Respect to both of you and .....respect to those men of the past.

Is there a recommended monthly amount of fish up there you should consume by fish n game?..due to toxins? I've seen at local state park, fresh water fish ounces per month of multiple types of fish one should eat.

Hey amos, what’s up Paisano (I know your born country very well as I left my umbilical cord there too) anyway…what a amazing duo are you guys, going back to fishing why did you guys didn’t try natural bait (larvae or any worms if was any there, maybe a chunk of fish- not just the head as you try on the beginning) anyway that was an amazing adventure for sure. I hope to see you back soon with some more fun bro
