He and Am might be. Am was threatening to surpass death itself, like the very aspect of death is what she was threatening to surpass, which is what the sith all strive to achieve. This is just assuming we take the whole thing of her "surpassing death itself" as a more literal interpretation, like she was gaining so much power that she was overpowering ideas. It sounds like some insane scaling if we take the statements for granted
