Actually there is a good reason to think that Siths are nice to kids. Not like the Jedi who take blood samples from children without asking...kidnapping children, to recrute them for their army of Jedi, ignoring that the children wants to see their mothers, or at least have contact (they can holographic communicate from one part of the galaxy to the other..but dont give their parents a communication device)... also like a cult: "once you are in our cult, kid, you are in for lifetime.. or we kill you". The Sith doesnt make such stuff. So i can totally imagine that Siths are quiet nice to kids :) Thats why Darth Maul let taking picture with him and the kid ..and after that he continued to kill Jedis ^^

@@paulgibbons2320 You're getting your entertainment mixed with your technical analysis - non-existent; of the 2 projects. Again, this is good entertainment. The special effects are not superior to, "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker". The creators wouldn't make that claim. That even sound weird saying that outloud. Common sense, logic and experience - you've seen it, would make you say, "duh." Don't respond like I'm talking about the entire production. I only refer to the special effects. You should watch films once for entertainment then a second time for technical. Do that and then come back at me in a few years. I say a few years because it will take that long to develop a critical eye. Me telling you isn't going to do it. You have to learn how to see in an organic way.

@@mematron I'm a graphic designer/illustrator. There is nothing wrong with my critical eye. An I've studied visual effects for as long as I can remember. You come back in a few years when you learn what you are looking at. You cheeky little nobody. CGI team at Lukas arts are getting very sloppy indeed under Abrams direction. Everything is moved around frame real sloppy to cram everything in. They don't take into account relative speed. They literally move from one frame to another planet in the space of a frame then behave as if there was not even a journey to get their. It's a total fudge. The lazy bastards have even started cutting and pasting the star ships. When you see the rebel fleet in the new starwars. It literally looks like a 2D wall paper. Everything is panoramic. Every shot needs to be a post card. No close set filming. Or stage set. The effects in this home brew are better because they do not distort things just because they can. It's grounded. Go back an watch the new starwars. Tell me I'm wrong.

The fights were primitive in the last movie as a hark back to the original trilogy, and as a statement that neither Kylo or Ray were fully trained with lightsabers. I'm sure they'll improve as the characters become more powerful.

Also Luke really isn't that great as a duelist, Maul would have crushed him if they ever battled even in his prime, as the New Jedi weren't are more about using the force than dueling since it isn't nearly as relevant as it was during the Old Republic.

You do realize that when Luke fights Vader (and defeats him), Vader isn't exactly in his 20s anymore, right? Because that's about the age he was when he was considered to be a prodigy and defeated Dooku... Saying that Luke is great because he beat Vader is like saying I'm a better swimmer than Michael Phelps...after he's been retired 20+ years and had his legs chopped off... I'm not exactly entitled to bragging rights there. Vader is still powerful (albeit, in a galaxy pretty much void of Force users), but not even close to what he once was before becoming 50+ percent robot in Ep.3. Luke's ability honestly isn't that great, and it makes no sense to call him "the strongest Jedi to have ever lived" when he was also the most shoddily trained Jedi to have ever lived. He had what, a week or two with Obi-Wan? A month or two with Yoda? Both of them being two old, out of practice masters who had essentially given up on everything? Yeah, I'm sure he got some top notch quality training... Only 2-3 years pass over the course of the OT, so lets give Luke a big break and say that he trained with them for the entire 2-3 years...he'd still be less experienced than a padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi in TPM, maybe even less experienced than *gasp* the "younglings," who have been training since 3 or 4 years old. Luke was, 19? When he started? Look I love Luke, but you gotta examine the context surrounding his character and those who trained him... He might have the "potential" to be the greatest (just like Anakin did), but Darth Maul would absolutely wreck his sh*t up lol.

Wow. You guys did a fantastic job masking your accents. I never would have guessed English wasn't your first language. I took German in HS, so I have a bit of an idea how different the 2 languages are, far from fluent though. You guys did fantastically. And that's only a few small part of it. Wow! We are so happy that you enjoy our look behind the scenes! Regarding Sidious' make-up: We are of course aware that he only gets his wrinkled face in Episode 3. But with the make up the actor's mouth and chin looks much more like the original actor that played Sidious. And we knew that we would cover most of his face in shadow. So that's why he wore his whole make up for the shoot. Erklärung zu Sidious Make-up: Wir wissen natürlich, dass sein Gesicht erst in Episode 3 entstellt wird, aber da wir den Großteil seinen Gesichts eh im Schatten verschwinden lassen und nur seinen Mund und sein Kinn zeigen, kamen wir so zu einem Look der viel näher am original Schauspieler ist als ohne Make up.

I’m only in my twenties but I remember when fan made films used to be a lot of cringe, so I would naturally feel that way as I clicked a new video, but this was awesome and yet another bit of evidence to the contrary of my outdated beliefs concerning fan made content, in this age where the Hollywood stuff is unbearable cringe while the fans now make the decent stuff to watch... what a world.

Dieser Fan Film ist einfach nur krass gut!!! Ich schaue diesen öfter als die Star Wars Filme. Tolle Bilder, gut geschrieben und die Choreo einfach Weltklasse...ein guter Mix aus coolen Stunts, schönem Schwertkampf und auch einfach "hau drauf"! Das macht es authentisch! Glaube jeder Fan wünscht sich einen komplette Film von euch zu Maul...die Kinos würden platzen durch den Ansturm!

Ich finds so krass, dass deutsche "Fans" hier einfach mal eben eine Qualität abliefern, die es so noch nicht einmal in deutschen Kinofilmen, Serien oder sonst was gibt^^ Die deutsche Filmlandschaft vermittelt uns immer das Gefühl, wir wären voll hinten dran, was die Branche betrifft, aber anscheinend haben die "Profis" einfach nur keinen Bock auf den Stress mal was ordentliches zu liefern.. Schon Schade und krass, dass wir mittlerweile so darauf eingestimmt sind, zu glauben wir könnten es nicht besser, nur damit sie uns weiterhin Ihren billigen Scheiß verkaufen können. Wirklich n Eye Opener. Danke Jungs! Hoffentlich kommt da noch deutlich mehr von euch!

Viele Deutsche Filme sind nicht schlecht, viele sogar sehr gut. Die meisten hier kennen aber nur soetwas wie Fack Ju Goethe als deutschen Film und erwarten Hollywood Blockbuster, wie Star Wars, Avengers usw. Für soetwas ist das deutsche Kino nicht bekannt, sondern für Filme, die wirklich etwas sagen wollen... Und nicht nur stumpfe Action
