I think a really cool variant of this would be a mode where the SA-X’s have to destroy the Metroids, and its a race where the Samus players have to get strong enough to kill and absorb the SA-X players before all Metroids are defeated.

Canonically a bunch of baby Metroids can defeat a SA-X while the final Omega Metroid take out another in one hit. It’s an uphill fight for X.

1 Samus vs 10 SA-X. Start with 1 SA-X then after some progress another shows up and near the end it must have 10 SA-X. To make better handicap the Metroids concentrate the X mobs/players while the lone Hunter try to kill the queen, bring the baby and must fight one SA-X near ship. Not killing in a certain time one X player arrives. Ev must be near the edge of map when the queen is dead if they'll don't catch Samus before the Queen's chamber.

So what happened at 26:47? You suddenly underwent a color change, gained 4 additional E-tanks, as well as more missiles, super missiles and bombs, and you acquired all of your gear (save for grav). It's as if the server host made you into a SA-X mid game.

I think this was on the 1.4.1 version, the game sometimes got messed up due to high ping which causes bad syncing.

Someone on his team killed an SA-X and absorbed it, and since item collection sharing is on, he got all the abilities that Fusion player gained.

@@edweiner6005 That's...not what happened at all. Or what's supposed to happen, either. You can tell that something glitched very badly because Druid's character model went from a Fusion Power Suit Samus to a "normal" Varia Suit Samus. What's normally supposed to happen when a Fusion player kills an SA-X and absorb the Core-X is the players on the Fusion team get Ice Beam, not all of the upgrades the SA-X team has. Druid wasn't supposed to have Ice Beam (unless a player absorbed an SA-X) nor Screw Attack and Varia. He also ended up with a lot more health, missiles, super missiles, and power bombs, which he shouldn't have had.

This is a lot like Zelda the Four Swords Adventure on the Game boy advance that was included with A link to the past. This game should be called the Four Arm Cannons Adventure just like it. I remember back when games like these couldn't be multiplayer unless you had link cables or whatever other cords were needed. When the DS came around and introduced online multiplayer for handhelds, I'd grown out of games like those and Pokemon. I never got to play with other people.

The more beams you combine, the slower your fire rate. The way it works out, you can get more DPS by disabling wave beam and spamming the other beams all combined.

This game doesn't have randomization on, it's just a New Game+.

Normally, the SA-X players wait at their spawn for 3 minutes, and then can't kill any player in Area 1 (Golden Temple), and in some cases, the caves leading up to Area 1. SA-X players aren't allowed to kill Metroids, and they aren't allowed to enter bosses unless forced to (i.e. Temple Guardian). Fusion players can only obtain Ice Beam by killing an SA-X and absorbing their core, but they have Ice Missiles to counterbalance that. Once Fusion players obtain the Gravity Suit, SA-X players automatically obtain the Gravity Suit as well, which makes both teams immune to Ice Beam (and Ice Missiles). In case you're wondering what happened mid-match when Druid got all the SA-X equipment, and his player model changed, that was just a bug. A major bug. He was still on team Fusion, and could attack SA-Xs, but had SA-X gear.

@@ShadowMKII For the Golden Temple, I meant to say until 15 minutes have passed from the start of the game, whoops. The bug I was referring to was actually around 27 minutes in (the sudden gain of upgrades Druid shouldn't have had), not at the end. The game ending despite Druid being away from the ship was because one of the SA-X players entered the ship after The Baby was collected.

That was amazing, all the speed booster tricks and the escapes were awesome. I wondered why you skipped the gravity suit, since it'd make PVP against the SA-X much much easier, but now I see there might have been SA-X camping the gravity suit area. Also what happens when you absorb an SA-X?

Thank you! I think I skipped Gravity because back in that version, the SA-X can't be frozen anymore and they are not slow anymore in water/lava. When I absorb a SA-X, I get the ice beam and a refill.
