Thank you for answering Flora's question! It made me think back about my history and where I could have interrupted the script in my head. 🙏

These AMAs are some of my favorite conversations you have Dr. Mike. In regard to being yourself. I’d add that if you know who you are then you also know that you are not your clothes or your style. Possibly more important is if you’re honest about your values and beliefs, or do you change those based on the rooms you’re in. That’s problematic.

That’s exactly what i wanted to say also. We have to realize we need to go deeper and deeper to who we TRULY are and it has nothing to do with the external but 100% internal. We can have fun expressing with the external but that does not mean that we are those external things. We are this moment… that’s it!

Hi Dr. Mike. And old mentor of mine used to give me hard time about saying "to be honest" in any way shape or form. He challenged me, and I challenged him. And while I'm glad he "beat the saying out of me" because I was overusing it, I found that there are appropriate times for someone to use that phrase. I think it makes sense to allow it when someone is being vulnerable. I find that I say it sometimes when I'm admitting something I didn't really want to say out loud or open up about a topic. And if someone gives me a hard time about using the phrase, they may not get to hear what I was actually going to say. Give everyone license to be honest I say, whether they announce it or not!
