It’s crazy that the police acknowledge that it’s entirely lawful and legal to continue taking pictures but then requested that they relinquish that right and ask you to make adjustments to your lawful activities because it makes people “feel” a certain way. It’s not anyones responsibility to make people feel comfortable or feel good through their day, that’s a them problem. It’s up to the individual to control how they feel, not up to others around them to make sure they’re content.
@rizekitty14842 жыл бұрын
Well stated. Police training has led them to believe they are supposed to be mediators in every situation they are presented with. Police want the public to see them as authority figures, not people who are tied at their hands and only allowed to handle situations in particular manners. That is precisely why you rarely see police apologizing or giving up the edge... It's sad because if the officers just approached the situation from a place of strength, intelligence, and compassion, they would receive all the respect and authority they desire.

More people need to do the same, and not depend just the few brave as Jason to do it for them. Because, remember and think about this: When you have people whom support a REGIME as we have in power now, are the same people that are helping them destroy OUR RIGHTS. They want this once great nation to become a third world country(Banana Republic), where you can be told what to think and what you need to do, and the powers that be can just do to YOU as they please!!

It's strange, but Jason was previously a better auditor. The cop got out of his car and merely started asking questions - which Jason was under zero obligation to answer. Instead of simply refusing to answer, Jason kinda goes off on the cop. Neither the cop nor the supervisor ever attempted to demand any information. He MUST stop freaking out about people asking him questions. I know that he has good reasons to be defensive, but he needs to resist his compulsions.
@interestedparty002 жыл бұрын
Also, Jason needs to learn to STFU. He often gives the cops more details than he gives a store owner. THAT justifies the store owner's 911 call because they were able to get Jason to disclose more information by getting the police to engage. How do auditors not understand this?
@Chambersdavidjames2 жыл бұрын
Good stuff as usual! Just a quick note for you: As a bit of an expert on HIPAA, it only applies to providers, covered entities and their business associates. Nothing to do with training or certification. They are all held to the standard whether they are trained or not. It NEVER applies to any members of the public. So, if for example you happened to film HIPAA protected info, the violation would be on the covered entity, but not you.
