People are literally sleeping on PacMan. He’s a great character and a lot of fun. It looks like I’m going to march right into elite with him. My fear is that once people realize how good he is and fun (I think people assume he’s boring) than my fear is that people are going to start crying “nerf!” This character is super strong and I could see him getting nerfed but not enough people play him yet but eventually this may happen as more people pick him up. I will be annoyed if they nerf him. He’s such a great character and well designed.

I started playing super smash bros on the n64 when I was 4 years old. I have so many bad habits that I've been working on correcting, but it's hard! My best character by far is Ganondorf since I have really natural instincts on spacing and punishing people, but with a complicated character like Pac Man I get punished by people who know intricate things like which frames can be used to punish me. Oh well I'll keep practicing this was a really cool video :)

@@Amalga his "guide" was more an opinion piece on how the new normals felt and fruit recycling. At least from what I remembered. Plus it was from very early on in Ultimate. This guide you made is short, concise, and gives a strong overview on the character. I'm definitely going to try out edge guarding differently now.

my PAC seems to have reached his peak until I learn some more techs & finishing combos. I simply cannot progress above around 6,000,000 GSP right now. I lose so many matches in sudden deaths from people running out the clock because I struggle to finish the job with PAC or I get so bogged down by lag that heavier characters simply wipe the floor with me because I can’t do most of Pacs really flashy moves in the severe lag.

You just jump offstage, charge Fruit, and then jump, there isn't a complex input you just jump out of the charge provided you have a double jump left

I've only learned semi-consistent setups for the first seven fruits: Cherry: drop hydrant, throw cherry away from it just before water comes out, run up and short-hop zcatch it Strawberry, orange, apple: drop hydrant, throw fruit towards hydrant just after water comes out (and I mean, like, "on reaction" kind of just), run up a little and catch it Melon, Galaxian, bell: these are trivial if you're not on a custom stage that doesn't have flat ground Key: run offstage, B-reverse it into a specific part of ledge, and double-jump f-air into it (only works on BF/FD, unfortunately; you can just improvise with walls usually)
