FYI-The song was written by the Governor of Oklahoma, Jimmie Davis, way back in the 1930s. He was a staunch segregationist his entire life. But he was was a fantastic songwriter and wrote hundreds of songs when he wasn't busy governing the great state of Oklahoma.
