the one line that confuse me is "everything past tense" like what does that mean.

The line "why is it, with you, everything's past tense" refers to the grammatical tenses. Past tense is when you add "-ed" or change the end of a verb because it happened in the past. For example, danced, laughed, sang. So what I meant was that everything they had done together was in past tense not because they don't do it anymore. Hope this helps :)
