That would give it a fascinating parallel to Silent Hill. A girl who was born to fulfill a ritual, only to escape and get adopted. She only comes back to the cult because of the dad. Now he spends his time trying to free his daughter, in anyway he can, by any means necessary. Honestly, it's a near perfect parallel between the two. The big difference is that Hameln found her because of the dad's show, instead of Amanda having dreams telling her to come back.

It would explain why they got attacked.

If I may, My personal theory is that the monster thats been hunting Riley throughout the games IS Rebeccas BODY posessed by the demons and shaped to look like that. One thing to dissprove that is at the endof the first game ala the real ending amanda tells us that her body is out there somewhere meaning she has no idea where it is in the first place. Then we come to chapter 2 where we also notice she has control over the monster that hunts us (Imma call MA "Monster Amanda"). I Believe that whatever happened to Rebecca after her foster father dissapeared backfired on hamelin and they tried to put a stop to it instead (This is merely speculation cuz we havent seen any hamelin employee or officer in game) By placing Rebeccas soul into the tapes. However a piece of Amandas soul is inside her body just twisted and corrupted by the other demons possessing her body.This could also explain why amanda has some control over MA due to a piece of Rebeccas soul in MA. Pieces of souls are proven at the end of chapter 2 when Joanne destroyed one of the tapes setting some sort of spirit free or maybe a piece of her soul. I also believe that the recording that we saw in this video is a hamelin facility where they are keeping an eye on her which could support this theory further as that could be the area where they lose control of Amanda. NOTE: I also wonder if the same can be said about rebeccas foster father since in the end we see MW in the secret ending. Which also correlates to wooly also having a consciousness. If thats the case maybe we see a Possum Monster in correlation to the possum in this chapter

I wish Rebecca could get revenge on Hameln, but Riley may have to be the one to save her. Being trapped for 15 years in a comatose state is a nightmare, she missed out on a lot of her life. She believes her father betrayed her and doesn't know that Kate is gone. Who knows if her father Sam alive since he too has been imprisoned by Hameln. I hope we get a part 3. Riley will need help to take down the evil company and save everyone, Jordan included in honor of Joanne.

My take on amanda the adventurer If you plan to use this theory please give me credit Made by ultrabacon101 The missing kids: So as we know, the show was used to kidnap kids to likely make a deal with their souls for the demons, in exchange for power from the demons the kids' souls are given to the demons and trapped in the show. It's heavily implied Rebecca is Amanda and Jordan is the opossum, so my theory is that the kids who already had a voice acting or part in the show, such as amanda or wooly, were trapped in the parts they played. As for the kids who didn't have a part, I think they were trapped in all the props around the environment with eyeballs. This is proven in 2 ways When you answer Sam when Amanda asks what is a daddy chicken in the original game, the barn looks straight at you with bloodshot eyes.
