I’m not sure about Grenada, but a lot of Caribbean islands are NOT pro black. There is a lot of colorism and shame with darker skin tones due to skin bleaching. In Jamaican, the local people cater more towards white tourists.I’ll never forget, my Jamaican MIL (in 2014) gave my daughter a white doll and my SIL gave my baby a few white Barbie’s. I donated them.
