I'll give my two cents even though no one asked for it, lol. I've experienced many people like Amanda. They're fun, outspoken, charismatic, passionate, great to have in your corner.. but very draining at the same time. The type of people you love to death but know to keep at arms length. I have a friend or two like this. They have a version of themselves that they believe to be true, and tend to cling to people who champion them in that belief. They are self aware but lack accountability. Headstrong, opinionated, however, everything is a long drawn out debate or discussion; not realizing some things can just be. Also personable enough to get their foot into many spaces, but quick to react when there's a differences of opinion. The inability to bend/compromise, so they cut people off as a result. Constantly working on their ego, but have a hard time being honest with themselves. I like Amanda. I want to continue to like Amanda. Wishing her much success, but just like her podcast.. Tamar Braxton & her husband Vincent Herbert were the INITIAL Executive Producers, alongside Sally Salsano back in 2013. 💯 They’re Black, and Sally is Latina. It very much showcased in the initial format of the show, it’s audience & guests. It wasn’t until after they ALL were let go from the show altogether… it took a MAJOR turn. The Real began to be very political, but at the same time.. lack substance. 🤧 They were nominated for awards, but didn’t actually win until they “whitened it up”. I guess once they seen the ratings & backlash for the lack of knowledge on topics regarding BLACK people… they decided to get Amanda. and pull in a new Black Executive Producer. Then they had an issue with Amanda making it “too Black”. 🙄 I specifically remember Loni doing an interview, and saying _”this isn’t a Black show”_ in regards to Amanda. SMH. So I believe her sentiments. 🤦🏽♀️

Even go back and watch how after she left Loni all of a sudden start being very “pro black” , dressing like A,and a keeping her braided and in African wraps . And then she let it go after the conversations switched . They didn’t pull in a new producer they took one of the producers and promoted her . I don’t think she “pushes a strong Black woman agenda”. I think she is assertive and YOU hear “strong Black woman agenda” because you see a Black woman who is not meek. All she has advocated for is about Black people and it happens to include her experience as a Black woman. On a show like The Real, thas for and with women panels, a lot of the commentary is about… women. When her assertive and self-assured messages grate on people’s skin, they see that coming from a Black woman and conclude that “SBW” is her narrative. No. That is a projection. As a black girl living in Switzerland, everytime I hear about Amanda Seales she's either rejected from somewhere or having beef with someone. That's literally all I know her for. So I went to see for myself. I followed her on IG (then quickly unfollowed), I tried to go listen to whatever she had to say on her podcast, I tried to understand, I watched her on The Real and in the end, it's only really clear how difficult she is (and kinda toxic too). Wow. The reason why she speaks so often about entitled white people is because she's exactly like them. According to her, her audience is solely people who agrees with her: everybody else is dumb and/or late. With all the beefs and negativity surrounding this woman, I NEVER heard her ONCE say "But maybe that time it was me, maybe I could've handled the situation better", no, the entire world has or should have apologized to her. So yes Amanda Seales: go thrive on social media, making videos alone with a phone that will never talk back, or alone on a stage from where you will "educate" the world to think exactly like you, or alone behind a podcast microphone cause Hollywood and some of us are, indeed, done with you.
