The problems of this industry are problems and quite strong indicators of a general situation (not just decay and corruption) and they actually help you understand what's wrong with the human mind and mentalities to an extent (no resistance to what some rich/companies try to force down your throat, with specific kinds of "idols" and themes in songs that are either empty of essence or downright manipulative and promote greed/cynicism/selfishness/immaturity, etc as if we needed those to gain more ground in our souls hearts and mind). The song by Serbia said it all, I guess. Btw, I now realized that I'm quite glad I started watching Eurovision again, the last 2 years, despite its obvious flaws. Too bad that those who run the world and those who've ended up supporting them (even by trying to resist them, like for example my friend from highschool who has recently fallen prey to the paranoia and confusion certain circles that have done enough evil in the past too with their extreme cynicism, fanaticism and violence, are spreading and cultivate and *will* exploit - it seems such elitists will not stop now that they actually got a shot), are ruining everything, and the future ESCs will be representative of this, if they ever happen at all... p.s. I didn't mention different tastes in music for a reason. I hate any form of elitism, and secondly, there are good songs in every genre, plus... I've seen and interacted with many ppl with taste that partially matches mine who were the exact opposite of what their favorite music (at that time anyway) pointed you at as a possible personality, and half of them actually *were* musical elitists ofc. (I don't want a medal, no, I'm just saying these in case they help someone understand what I've understood through observations etc, and eventually, if we get a chance, solve human stupidity's riddles and avoid even more consequences.... probably futile and silly of me at this point, but I think me losing my hope again would make me part of the problem ...and the zombie army.
