What I got from this: The monsters exist to "protect" the "dignity" of the characters they are linked to and the things they care about. The Amanda-looking one only attacks when amanda is distressed or someone tries to destroy the tapes. The Wooly-looking one attacked the moment someone mentioned the idea of bringing Hameln down, and growled when the Amanda monster was about to destroy the wooly plushie.

@@VB_29Yup. You can compare the way it growls to the growls of the monster in the true ending and it’s the same “voice” basically. Also someone else on youtube went through the game files and pulled out the 3D model of the monster and this confirms it is indeed Wooly. The Wooly Monster has sheep eyes, Wooly’s ears and a similar body shape to the one Wooly’s plushie has.

Amanda telling the Monster "NO, dont hurt them", you can tell from its body language. It is not really happy to let you go free, but it followed Amandas instructions reluctantly. Like a "FINE! But, you are only alive because she says so." Kind of deal.

To anyone that didn't notice, the entities from both endings were different. In the Bad ending, it was the Amanda entity that killed Joanne. It killed her swiftly and painlessly (I think) In the True ending, you can see the entity looked more larger and quadrupedal, almost as if it's an animal. That's why Joanne's death felt more gruesome in the ending, because it ripped her apart like an animal. So perhaps the larger entity that brutally killed Joanne is actually Woolie. Because he is the only animal character in the series (aside the possum). Which could mean that Woolie is the true villain of this series.

As mentioned multiple times, the opossum is Jordan, Joannes brother. You can see the opossum react the moment it hears Joannes voice 8:09 and try to say her name. 25:48 This is probably Jordan, he likes to jump around in front of the camera and more dangerous things which is why he wears a cast around his arm, the opossum had similar somewhat dangerous scenes multiple times. Also notice how the kid wears a shirt with a skull on it. Could either foreshadow that the kid is "dead", the skull somewhat resembling the opossums face or the opossum "playing dead" during various scenes which is a real behaviour by opossums (tonic immobility).

Because the entities are different. In the Bad Ending, it was the Amanda Entity that killed her. However, in the true ending, we see that the entity is different. It was larger, has a bigger mouth (and more eyes probably), and it looked to be quadrupedal like an animal. Perhaps the entity in the true ending is probably Wooly

*Secret Tapes, and what I think.* From what I’m getting at the Red Tape, the person talking to Sam is most likely someone who works at Hameln Entertainment, who’s probably talking to him about something serious, or maybe offering to donate money to expand the library, which would explain the secret hatch we find. We also see a women who’s Aunt Kate, the women who died. The green tape is probably a recording that was done by the same person who was secretly recording Rebecca saying certain phrases in the first game. As for who it is, it’s probably our Masked Figure, because she eventually reveals that her name is Joanne, an older sibling to one of the kids that went missing. She also mentions she will “no longer be a pawn”, meaning she could have been involved with Hameln, until she started to realize what’s been happening? The Light Blue tape probably takes place before Hameln cuts off Sam, when he refuses to comply with their demands, which ends up with the one tape that shows a news report about Sam’s disappearance in the first game. Finally, the Orange Tape, which shows us Aunt Kate is starting to form a group meeting in secret, and has a still frame of Rebecca in the process of signing a contract, like with what we see from the first game. There’s also a mention that Hameln has been around for centuries, which is possible, especially when they mention the strange words, phrases, and odd symbols in the Amanda Show. Side note: There’s a cassette tape which reveals that Kate was driving while recording, and the tape ends abruptly, indicating Aunt Kate died in a car accident. Overall, It does seem our true ending is the canon ending, as the other secret ending in the first game, ends with Joanne (the masked figure), shows up in our attic. We see Joanne getting attacked by the monster we’ve been facing, but it’s changed, most likely showing that it’s either stronger, or maybe it’s something else that’s causing it to change. Regardless, we head down a secret hatch, which probably connects to the Hameln Entertainment headquarters, so it’s up to us to stop them, and put an end to the terrors of Amanda the Adventurer. Who knows what’s in store, but one thing is clear, it’s gonna be one hell of an adventure! 🗺️🧭🤠

I have many theories I commented almost everywhere. 1. Amanda and monster Amanda are related but also separated. Like, we knew in the previous game she could transform. But here, it was like there are the same person but with different personalities. While Amanda was in the tv, her monster self was OUTSIDE. In the “When you’re feeling bad” Tape, When we have to invent a story (knight, princess, wizard etc..), and that Monster Amanda tried to attack us, Amanda pleaded it to not do this and let us try. When she was happy with the sad story and that Monster Amanda was about to attack us again, Amanda stopped it, convincing it to let us go. See my point ? 2. The Opposum is Jordan (Joanne’s brother). In the “Do you feel safe ?” Tape before I think the True Ending, when they all lunched at the screen, stuggling and wrestling to get the opossum away, it screamed : “Jo..Jo- JOH !!! Jo-..JOH- JOH-AHH !!” “Coincidentally”, Joanne’s name is with J.O.A. He was about to complete before the guys shut him up. Why would he randomly start screaming that if he didn’t know Joanne ? There’s no doubt of this. 3. I don’t think Wooly’s on our side. Because you can see that Amanda hates him more for some reason, he’s like keeping Amanda from truly “express” herself through the games and…well, We still don’t know his true identity. If he’s a trapped kid, what’s his real name or anything. In the treasure hunting, when Amanda founded the clothes inside the ground while digging, Wooly didn’t even say anything and immediately looked at Amanda and reburried it, trying to brush it off. Most of all, he didn’t even looked shocked ! And…if you look closely at the True Ending, it wasn’t Amanda who attacked Joanne. The monster was different, had some wool and a more animalistic ferocious head. Especially with that familiar ear raise. It was him. Who killed Joanne.

i KNEW from the FIRST TAPE HE APPEARED IN he acted differently (as in not a very good character anymore) sometimes he helps amanda sometimes he doesn’t. its very weird. Also, in that one tape about trust, amanda asks us ‘who do you trust?’. if we type wooly she says: “i trusted him a long time ago, not anymore” or something along those lines. also, game theory theorised that wooly was SAM. my idea links with this aswell. amanda not trusting wooly anymore could be because hameln brainwashed rebecca to only focus on her show, and we all know that hameln loves their demons. i also found this one person point out that the demon amanda heard a roar from one of the tapes i believe? this demon could most definitely be wooly. if there is another game/update, i am almost certain wooly will not be his normal goody goody self. mark my words

Theories I have: 1. I feel like it depends on who you make mad. If you make Amanda (the monster) mad, she will kill Joanne but if you anger wooly like when we didn’t help Amanda and wooly kill the possum, Wooly (the monster) will kill ) Joanne. 2. In the last tape, you see the possum saying “Jo..Jo..”. It was trying to say Joanne because that possum is Jordan Joanne’s little brother. 3. This is a theory btw. It might’ve been Rebecca (Amanda’s voice actor) in the hospital bed. So Amanda's monster isn't Amanda herself, but rather it's like a pet to her that does the work out there for her. And the storybook stuff, Wooly is all happy and cheery which is what gets you killed. But dark things is what Amanda likes and satisfies her, yet makes Wooly dislike them. I think all of the dark things/subjects is what's making her more alive, more human to try and reach out to Rebecca Colten, wherever she is out there. Wooly may actually be the bad guy here, trying to keep things happy and cheerful. In retrospect back in the 1st game, Amanda talks about things rotting and Wooly tries to move the subject along to a different thing. this SOB is working for Hamln, not with us! And the true/secret ending, that's monster Wooly, not monster Amanda. Him and Hamln are trying to stop us from destroying all of their hardwork.

Wooly is not a victim he's part of the Hamlen System and if he has a killer entity then he also has an ulterior motive. Seems to me these two entities are competing at playing possum to be set free from a confinement. One of them kill to prevent the destruction of the tapes, the other seems to want the tapes to be destroyed. But if Hamlen is still in control of the madness, then why do they want the tapes destroyed?

My theory is that the tapes itself are the contracts and once broken the monsters return back to their world. They are protecting the tapes because that's the only thing that's keeping them from disappearing. I think the tapes back from the other house were safe before it got burned down because if the tapes did get destroyed then the demons could have been weakened

Wooly is a demon (probably Balam - Baa Lamb as Hameln calls him), but we know from the first game that he was not a willing participant in Hameln’s experiments. Balam is one of kings of hell and it's hard to imagine him being satisfied with being stuck as cute sheep inside kids cartoon show. He may actually see Amanda as his friend, even if in animalistic way of a demon.

Something i think is, amandas demon or monster counterpart is more tame due to Amanda KINDA being more moody and snarky, while woolies is more brutal and aggressive due to him being overly nice and polite, because we LITERALLY heard Joanne's final moments before wooly packed her up.

Because if you think about it there both demons and love brutal stuff so when Amanda does brutal stuff like how she kills wooly in chapter 1 was for our safety but wooly despite having his own he must know kindness is what triggers his entity so he wants it to kill us so you may be on to something Amanda isn't bad she tried to kill wooly to protect us because his kindness Triggers them so killing wooly makes Amanda's entity tame and kinder while woolies kind behavior is brutal to his he wants us dead and notice how when Amanda killed wooly in the 1st the demon wooly didn't come this is because he couldn't be kind so his demon stayed calm while when wooly came back the entity of wooly striked so you may be on to something.

My theory is that Hameln either works for the demon Balam, or wooly, or perhaps works with them. Hameln provides souls, Balam keeps Hameln safe from anyone who gets suspicious. That’s where Amanda’s monster and Balam are different. I think Amanda’s monster is connected to amanda’s emotions in the essence that it acts as sort of a bodyguard, only acting when it feels threatened or Amanda is annoyed. The monster isn’t amanda herself, but maybe the physical remains of her, devoid of her emptions and soul, but retaining the base instincts, like a zombie. When Amanda’s monster kills the masked lady, it kills her a lot less aggressively, more out of an instinct, but balam kills out of evil/spite. It also seems that the Amanda monster seems to fear balam, due to the heavy breathing after it rips apart the wooly plushie, it also runs away. It probably knows just how bad Balam is. Two monsters connected to the taped, but with two different goals. Balam is maybe even torturing the monster and Amanda, which I speculated from the broken tape, which shows what seems to be exactly that: Wooly mentally torturing Amanda.

I like the attention to detail for the difference.It's like the character of woolly is meant to be two rolls words like one he's supposed to keep the show happy which is why he trying to keep the message happy but even applies to positive changes like facing your fears ie hamlin but on the other it's like that guy who was told to try to keep Amanda distracted and he's just slowly losing his patience and his mind. Because it's just a guy trapped in the exact same situation. But it's not trapped in a kid show. It's trapped in a hell with the psychopath who wants to be free and neither signed up for this. (Edit) Also I think the possum is the representation of the monster. It's a part of the show no different, but it's not trying to do anything related and it's just as annoying to Amanda because it doesn't want what she wants. It just wants to act in its nature.

I don't think Wooly was there after her. I think all of the 'fixing Wooly' things from Amanda 1 and 2, how Wooly acts like an adult caring for her and knows the neighborhood somehow better than Amanda does, he's less depressed entirely, his monster is clearly stronger and less controlled (but he rarely uses it, no child-like outbursts), and the 'pig' implications, imply he was there before her, as their second experiment (separate from the lore of the show itself). Then Amanda met him this way through the show with a much more controlled monster (they learned how to do it better) except she's a child. This would explain why the opossum child is so awful, lost and doesn't have a monster; he was their first experiment, and failure, trapped in some of the worst, lost tapes (now finally put to rest due to the end of this game). The opossum probably isn't even a part of the company/show's lore since not even Wooly knew who he was, which is why he wouldn't be seen in the tapes that weren't public. I think her monster reacting the way it did to Wooly was her embracing the fact that she knew what to do in that moment; she wants to kill and set Wooly free, also freeing her OF Wooly knowing what he is, finally fixing him. This was also after she finally dealt with the opossum child. She's maturing in a horrible way, but she's maturing. Wooly may be villainous for the part with the clothing, but I think it's because he's embracing what things are, not because he's a villain. It's likely some adult, or older child that just wants to be whatever this is now, hence why he's so happy just being around Amanda.

Guys i think the possum is jordan, AKA the masked figure's/joanne's brother, who got taken into the show. In the tape where amanda and wooly are in the alleyway, when the possum came, joanne was talking to riley in the walkie, and the possum probably heard her and jumped at the camera, yelling "jo! Joh! Jo!" which is probably joannes nickname. The possum was trying to communicate with her, and happy to see her.

There’s also some times when you’re given the option to answer inside the tapes, the player can put ‘hameln’ and unlock secret dialogue from Amanda. In every one, she mentions something similar to “never mention them” or she expresses her hatred for the company. I feel this may also connect with the true ending when Joanne mentioned bringing Hameln down, and what happened? The wooly entity appeared. So perhaps Amanda was trying to warn us from the beginning the consequences of mentioning the company, and maybe her hatred towards wooly also foreshadows the true ending.

Theory I think that Riley got trapped in a little house and managed to escape from Amanda. Then, she went to Kates attic. Before she got there, Joanne killed Kate and Kate thought she was dead. Joanne escaped and after Riley destroyed Amanda temporarily, Joanne came back to save her. Joanne then sent Riley on an adventure, but it was with Amanda. Joanne told her to run and she went to an underground facility. I think that is what it will be based on. Hoped you liked it!

Oh… it’s taking me a second watch of the secret ending to realise that Joanne was actually manipulated by Hameln to basically be their sort of double agent and destroy the tapes for them. Maybe they lost control of the thing, maybe the occult group was getting too close to their cult. But Joanne joins the group to get close to Kate to get close to the tapes that they managed to get their hands on. Sensing a person who wanted to destroy the tapes triggered the monster and Hameln, who is no doubt following Joanne, were lead to Kate’s house not long after she picked you up and burned her house down.
