Amanda, please be grateful to be so blessed to WANT to be with your family. It is a true blessing when the relationship between all family members is so warm that all are looking forward to gathering together. Your parents did such an excellent job as parents mashaAllah. I try to avoid by all means family gatherings unfortunately. I feel very uncomfortable and not in my shoes with my family. As a matter of fact, I feel this feeling most intense when I am with my family than with anybody else. So enjoying your gatherings with your family is such a blessing.

amanda those honey donuts in greek are called loukoumades but in arabic they are called loumatil adee. They are so good but be careful because they are addicting and can make you out of breath if you ever have to chase down a bus you're about to miss!

Salaams Amanda! Ramadan Mubarak...you might want to try using a mediflow water pillow. I used to have a lot of neck and shoulder pain and this has been a game changer. Alhamdulillah no more neck or shoulder pain especially, neck crinks. Btw loving the Ramadan content ❤❤❤

Hi, Amanda! Assalamu Alaykum from the Philippines! Went over your shoulder/neck pain, and I just want to share with you that a student of mine (I'm a teacher) also has the same problem. She was advised to see a dentist and when she had the proper check-up, turned out that she needed braces not to fix her teeth, but to align her teeth and it affected the placement of things in her back and shoulders. Now, she's pain free. Ramadan Mubarak!

I think in Indonesia it's common to start fasting from the first grade, but we only start doing full days on the second or third grade. it depends on the kids.

Those desserts are delicious! In Dubai, the Emiratis say lu-gay-maht, mostly, they leave off the "lu" and just say "gay-maht". My favorite is plain no toppings, just the date syrup poured over. Omgosh, I could eat them every single day.😮😅

I started fasting when i was 4 y 😂 my mom told me that i wanted to imitate her or something like that but i remember some days that i break my fast on secret with my sisters😀😂💔And on my family usually we start fasting at age 6 or 7 They start by fasting every other day then the next ramadan they try to fast the whole month
