It’s so sweet and thoughtful you cleared off surfaces and made the house child friendly for your niece. As a mom, it can be so stressful to keep little ones out of everything when we go to others’ homes. I’m able to visit and interact with the other adults so much more when I don’t have to be constantly keeping the little ones out of everything. 🥰

How is your neck/shoulder doing now? Did the new pillow help? If it's still bothering you I can highly recommend using magnesium oil on it. It relaxes the muscles a bit. Helped me a lot with neck pain

This is so random but I started following you on tiktok last week and seeing you break your fast with dates made me crave dates so I went to Costco (and surprisingly they had a lot of them, I guess its the season haha) and bought so many and I’ve been eating like 4 every day like it’s nobody’s business. You are not mistaken. The month of Ramadan is the season for eating dates هه But it is better for it to be an odd number, meaning three, five or seven

Are dates symbolic for something in Islam? I notice that many content creators who are Muslim eat those to break their fast. I’m just curious how it came to be so common. (I’m not muslim but think this is interesting to learn about)

​@@vanessahobbes3072 We usually break our fast with dates to follow the Sunnah (the practises of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)). Also dates contain a lot of sugar and breaking fast with a date allows our blood sugar to increase immediately after long hours of fasting 😊
