Can you tell me what kind of ‘pencil’ you are sing to mark out the pattern lease? I currently use white chalk pencils and am finding they’re too thick and difficult to keep sharp for more defined lines. Plus they’re a nightmare to sharpen as they keep breaking. Lovely design, thanks for sharing ❤

I know the struggle. They where never made for mandala rock painting. I do draw lines on a piece of paper when it stops flowing.

Meant to ask you this as well if I may....having trouble with my go to epoxy resin, used it for hundreds of rocks but am now getting ‘fish eyes’ occurring where the resin doesn’t adhere and separates leaving low and high spots. Looking for a good gloss alternative, see you use Liquitex, assume the gloss variety? Do you get any problems, have you any tips for a great finish? I’m grateful for your answers, thank you.

Hello Gillian, I use varnish from acrilex or from liquitex. It works well will decoart americana acrylic paint. For resin use uv resin! Sorry for the delay!

Thanks for your info and no need to apologise for any delay! We all have things to do 👌. I took the plunge and ordered some Liquitex gloss varnish last week...it works perfectly! Much more cost effective and no wastage either as I simply pour any excess back into the bottle and all is good. Any bubbles on the stone after applying a layer disappear on drying, it’s great, plus it’s dried in around 3 hours so able to handle them carefully much sooner. Thanks for your help it’s really been appreciated. Love your videos and your work, truly inspiring 😍

Hello! Thank you. Well this one took a little longer because of all the drawing the flower. I did wait for it to try between stages.. but like just an hour in between for it to dry! Because I was filming it took extra hours, but all together If I did it non stop it would be about 5-6 hours! ❤️
