Is it weird that the montage at 18:07 made me tear up a little bit? Watching Amanda just sitting cross-legged in the sunlight and leisurely eating her lunch, along with the relaxing music hit me with a wave of nostalgia. I felt nostalgic for various things: calm afternoons where I would walk outside after having lunch, planning to hang out with friends, or watching the landscape bathed in sunlight. Even though I'm fully entrenched in WFH right now, it's raining at my place, and I have been out of school for 7 years, this sequence made me remember those long sunny afternoons when I would be at home after school in full exam prep mode, having intense study sessions and then relaxing in between. The pandemic has seen me hit rock bottom in terms of my physical and mental health. I have been stress eating frequently, put on a lot of weight, and been more depressed than ever. But I have decided to break this cycle by starting to take counselling sessions to work through my emotions. To anyone who has read this far, please don't hesitate to seek help if you are in a position to get it! The current situation has messed with the best of us, so it's no wonder that it will adversely affect those who were already struggling with their mental health. Stay safe, and do whatever you need to keep yourself going down a healthier and happier path in life!

I totally get what you mean by working through lunch, thinking you'll get more done... because I do that all the time and it tends to backfire on me. Amanda, this has to be one of my favourite videos of it's kind. Love makeup tutorial, seeing what you eat, how you seem to naturally take good care of yourself. Wow, what a voice, I loved that song, get it out there Amanda, you are an amazing singer. Is there no end to your talents? Can't wait for the next video. You have a lovely relaxing voice, you don't waffle on about nothing, I have found I have learned the importance of getting out of the house for lunch & a walk. I'm at home working/living & I have what I call "dressing gown days" when I don't get dressed, do my hair etc, it's so easy to slowly drop into. Good idea to put makeup on, do your hair, nails & dress smartly casual. It does go down with low mood too, when I get dressed & make myself the best version of me that I can be, it really does lift my mood. I know its sometimes feels pointless, but it isn't, it's making you feel good, just take a glance in the mirror & I'm sure you'll smile because this is you making an effort for YOU. I love the way you explain everything too, being from UK we don't always understand brand names etc but you do a much better job at it compared with your contemporaries.
