Maui moisture is the perfect hair care brand. I'm never going back. The first time I used it I almost cried because my EXTREMELY frizzy, dry, ugly, unruly hair melted into soft silky shimmering blonde waves and curls. It's affordable yet its the best. It works. I've tried a handful of their shampoo/conditioner lines (Shea butter, coconut milk, and the vanilla bean), and they have all worked flawlessly. I recommend them to any girl with curly, wavy, or frizzy hair.

It might not look like it from my profile picture, but I have 3b hair that I’ve fought with all my life trying to make it straight with flat irons and not using the right products or just trying to brush it out. My mother couldn’t help me because she has very straight hair and didn’t ever realize that there are certain differences between curly hair care and straight hair care. I just got a big chop (waist length to above my shoulders) because the majority of my hair was in awful shape. I’ve been learning to take proper care of my hair from KZbin people such as you and I can’t thank you enough. I’m no longer trying to fight with my hair and I love it now, I’m no longer resenting it. I am no longer embarrassed by my hair and actually have confidence and am happier than I have ever been. Thank you so much, you’ve changed my life just by teaching me how to take proper care of my hair.

I have 3b thick curls and Aussie instant freeze gel is the best for my low porosity curls. I usually cover any products with it for awesome definition. When emulsified with water, it slips right through my curls & separates them into beautiful little curl groups. I use it in the shower where I have a lot more water on my hair because I have tight thick curls that dry quickly. Underneath it I also use pantene curl mousse as a conditioner & detangler under the gel (in the shower, i just don't rinse out- i clip it up to finish showering) because it has awesome slip.

Thank you for sharing. I like Maui Moisture and the conditioner of theirs you used is the shampoo and conditioner I have. I love the slip and moisture but I find from the aloe Vera it matts underneath back of my neck. 🙄 Thanks for NYM review I’ve tried some other products but glad to know they have a masque ❤️ I do the same with my gel (spray water) but I use the Garnier Pure Clean gel. Good work!

A little trim on those finer hairs always helps me when they start to tangle and act crazy 😩 This is actually one of the first NYM products I’ve tried! I use to use Maui when I was pregnant because my hair was dry and I normally use Garnier fruit teas but the sulfate was drying out my hair and I needed sulfate free shampoo and conditioner.

I’ve used the Maui moisture curl shampoo and the curl smoothie along with the Shea butter hair mask and I noticed my hair was falling out a lot more than usual. I read some bad reviews that it contains formaldehyde and other terrible ingredients so I have discontinued using their products. It is cheap so it’s not very surprising.

I know lots of people that love Bounce Curl gel! Unfortunately my hair only likes it sometimes but it normally dries my hair out too much. It has a ton of protein so maybe that’s why, but I’m so glad you found something that works for you! I’ll have to give it another try 🥰❤️

I couldn't find the shampoo and conditioner anywhere in my area, so i just bought the curl quench one and bamboo maui moistures (what I had backups of unopened). I have to be honest, it made my hair feel very dry when I was working it in, my reaction being the complete opposite of yours. Hopefully now that I've bought a diffuser it will do what I want :)

I was using the Maui Moisture Pineapple Papaya body wash!! They actually have some of the best body washes I’ve tried. I would recommend the Volcanic Ash body wash because it smells AMAZING and is super moisturizing 😻

I've tried the Maui line well just the conditioners and I didn't like it. I felt it did nothing for my hair. It didn't feel moisturizing for me. If this is different I would like to try it but if it's the same consistency as the others I would probably pass. Your hair came out really good though. Thanks for sharing ❤️

@@amandarrwalker I used the Maui lightweight hydration + hibiscus water conditioner and I also tried the curl quench coconut oil conditioner and for both didn't feel like it left my hair soft or moisturized. Haven't tried any of the shampoos yet just these 2 conditioners . But if you tried any of these and can compare them that would be great 🙂

Kelly V Same exact thing happened with me. The first ingredient in their shampoos and conditioners is aloe Vera so they might be it. Personally, my hair doesn’t like products that have aloe Vera very high on the ingredient list.
