I so love Golden Coil. The most useful layout for me is the project 4 blocks per page. Last year I set up the two pager to follow each month of the year. This is my go to for motivation and success of my goals. Since I'm using a Hobonichi Cousin this year, I'm using the blank page that comes before the daily pages for each month drawing in the blocks and lines. Can't do without it. Since my main goal this year is to lose weight because of my diabetes, I set up and purchased a fitness/meal planning/recipe Golden Coil notebook. So loving it. Thanks for sharing again. Last year, it was one of your earlier year review that led me to Golden Coil.

I did not buy Powersheets this year. I will be 78 at my next birthday so longterm planning is scary. I a,ready went through a partial bathroom reno this year due to a leak. I am using the Passionate Penny Pincher planner and also Daily Grind daily pages sometimes. I know I will think about a beach trip this year. Thats it

Thank you for sharing your plans for 2024. I think it sounds perfect! Do what works for you in the season you are in. And congrats on the the bathroom remodel...I know that is not fun when it's forced:( But hopefully you can enjoy it now. And if I could- I would take a beach trip every year! Have a good week:)

I love this idea! I have an EC project notebook that I've had for two years and I think I could create something similar in it.

That would be perfect to use for this! Any notebook can be made into something like this for sure! I am glad this resonated with you too:) Have fun with the set up!

Amanda, thank you for sharing this, I have an old Archer & Olive B5 dot grid notebook that I love & I have tried several things (faith journaling, common place book, journal) in and it's too big, but this is a great way to use it & see if I like it for this. I LOVE the Golden Coil planners and paper, but I am really trying to "use what I have before I buy". I LOVE the idea of being able to look back over several years in one spot. Thanks for the inspiration!

I will use some of the pages in the back of my Simplified weekly planner for goal planning. I like how you have the circle with the year and the goals coming out of it. I'm gonna do monthly or quarterly goals. I understand more how to build a Golden Coil now. I liked seeing the cream paper vs the white Erin Condren paper. I really like the white. I do think it is a good idea to have a multi year goal planner for the reasons you mention.

Hey Donna:) I think the pages at the end of planners are perfect for goal planning:) And I love making the mind map of the year...it's just a very easy free form way to get out ideas into categories and let it all flow out;) Have a great week!

Love the yearly tracker, I will be trying this out! TX weather is the craziest I have experienced, the land of extremes and zero predictability except very hot summers 😂

loved this! I have thought for a long time I was not big into goal planning but came to realize I actually am and I just haven't always written it down. My categories are Faith, Family, For Me, and For the Home. (sub-categories that go under some of these include : finance, food, and fitness). I hope you are successful with your 10-20 year plan with that notebook. It sounds like a good idea!

@@Composedandcontent yep, I am not into that type of terminology either. My goals are fun ones like "new recipes twice a month", use our china more often, get outside with my family more, I don't consider those to be "Crushing it " or "Killing it" goals either.
@AmandasFavorites Жыл бұрын
I don't think any of my goals have ever been of the "crushing it variety:) Whatever you need to call them I think is good!

I used a daily compact Franklin planner which worked for paid jobs and volunteer work - very functional only. Have started using their monthly pages (on 2 pages, notebook size). I am making different types of pages to see what works now. I'm 72 with heart problems, moved in with my younger son, age 30, and trying to downsize a lot! Now mainly working on genealogy and getting my son better prepared for success. I am doing housework for exercise. Here it rains almost everyday & no streetlights. I miss gardening (from TX).

I have to track hrs slept, what I ate & amt of protein, BP, heart rate during awake & sleep, exercise, daily steps, health problems (falls, dizzy spells, etc), etc.

Hi Karen:) It sounds like you have had some major life changes along with heath challenges! Good for you for tracking everything:) And it sounds like you and your son can both be a help to each other. What a blessing:)

I have the same problem finding the perfect planner during my slow January. Can I get the link to the printouts in the video? I've misplaced my PDF.
@AmandasFavorites Жыл бұрын
I can't share the links...She has stopped her newsletter as far as I know and I don't have permission to share the PDF. I am sorry! I would google "year long habit tracker" and you will find many free to choose from:) Thank you for watching!
