I live in a place where certain US brands aren't accessible, but Asian beauty is, and the Ilia milk essence was on my radar and now i have an alternative :') I adore the Hourglass balm too (at your recommendation!) and I'm hyped about the fact that there's a good k-beauty dupe because that Hourglass is Not Cheap. ive had the haru haru essence for like 2-ish weeks and i love it so!!!! much!!!! got it on yesstyle for €13.50 and i couldnt be happier. apart from my cleanser, my entire skincare routine are k-beauty products lol.

i also love their airyfit sunscreen but i switched to another one for the winter which is the dr ceuracle hyal re youth one, its so light (serum like texture) and hydrating. HIGHLY recommend this one for the winter!

The HaruHaru black rice toner is my fav, have reordered countless times. Also been using their sunscreen for at least a year- probably more and also love their face oil for gua sha.

Thanks, I bought three of the dupes you recommended. At least right now the hince highlight is $15 on Amazon and about $21 on yesstyle with Black Friday pricing. I’ve wanted to try the chanel highlighter but just couldn’t bring myself to pay chanel prices!

Congrats on the sponsorship from Haruharu! They are VERY high quality and consistently clock in a few dollars below similar brands. I layer their sunscreens for my winter SPF: a full application of the chemical sunscreen, then a full application of the physical sunscreen that I cut with DE bronzing drops for a skin tint-like bit of coverage. I do want to point out to anyone considering their physical sunscreen: it is actually a hybrid formula, not a mineral-only one. They report zinc oxide as the active ingredient, but you'll see butyloctyl salicylate high on the ingredients list, which is a chemical filter. It's how they get the high SPF without loads of white cast. This isn't unique to Haruharu - many if not most mineral SPFs cheat by not listing butyloctyl salicylate as an active - but anyone who needs a purely physical sunscreen should keep this in mind as they're shopping for sunscreens.

Hi Amanda in the video u said that the dupe for space cowboy is Judydoll shade G44 but in the caption it’s the shade G01 so I’m not sure which one do u mean cause both shades online look similar but one seems to be a little darker

Lauren Mae has both shades swatched side by side on IG, they do look very similar! I ended up getting G01 and really like it. Now I reaaaally want G03 😍. (hope it's OK to comment this since IIRC Amanda and Lauren Mae are friends, but if it's not I'll delete it!)

Hormonal acne is no joke! I hope the winlevi works for you. I tried it in cream form and hated the texture of it. I could never get makeup or sunscreen to look right. I had to stop it anyway because my insurance stopped covering it, but I am definitely happier with Rx I only need to wear at night.

I use the toner before SPF! and sometimes if my skin is dry i'll add a little on top of my SPF- Not ideal, but with a good SPF base I dont worry too much about it. Up to you!!

Speaking of “Dupes” is a very american thing to look at the world. I think the korean milky Toners were first before any of the others like Ilia etc.😉. Love your Makeup Videos but don’t like the word Dupe in this context…
