Amara Raja Group On India's EV Story, Battery Manufacturing, Gigafactory & Future | Jayadev Galla

Jayadev Galla, from Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, states that India intends to adopt the Chinese model rather than the Western model for electric vehicle (EV) adoption. He further informs that a pilot facility for cell manufacturing, with a capacity of 2 GWh, will be operational between April and June 2025. India's EV journey is similar to China's due to China's manufacturing capacity and access to raw materials, and it is vital for India's energy security.

4 wheeler is doing good because it comes from Trusted brands with all the quality checks etc and big pockets with decades of Manufacturing expertise. TATA is doing really great. But 2 Wheeler is complete different story Hero electric, Tork Motors, OKINAWA are gone. they cheated customers and caused a 2 Cr loss per each dealership on AVG The Reality of EV 2 wheeler in India is different from what we find on Internet. If govt is so committed on FAME-II and wants to bring all vehciles below 150 CC to electric then why was the subsidy cut down in last year June frm 60K to 10K Also just observe the Number of New Fuel Stations openings coming up. Is there any relation to statement and actual reality ? No 2 Brands in Two wheeler segment have same vehicle charging plug-in point and thus Zero charging infrastructure for 2W SEGMENT

Batteries and Cells are Environmental hazard. Electric power for road Vehicles should be similar to Trains of Railways. Modiji can tell young Engineers to do this.
