I tried to contact hotel via phone but no one answered! Proceeded to email them to ask about availability + just received a 1 statement reply that the hotel is fully booked in Dec. Cannot imagine the service if I stayed there ..lol

sorry about your experience with them. I had had similar experience emailing them, I think their email response can be a bit lagging. My guess is they are still experiencing staffing issue. I had recently stayed with them again and will be posting a video of my experiences with them again soon.

I don’t think email replies are a sign of good service - I’ve had companies reply very quickly but the actual experience was vastly disappointing.

Indeed looks pretty chill! I like how you provide a review against the negative reviews that were made. Puts things in perspective that it is not always as bad as reviews say.

Thanks! We were worried after reading the reviews as well. End up we enjoyed the stay a lot. I can see where some of the bad reviews come from. But personally I felt a couple of them are ridiculously funny. One reviewer given it a 1 star because the reception did not realise it was his birthday and did not provide him any birthday treat.

Looks nice. Must admit, I did look at this resort in the past and was put off by negative reviews. Might give the hotel a go in the near future!

We almost cancel the booking after reading the reviews too. Maybe we are lucky as we did not face any issue with the room services, we did ask for ice bucket for the 2 nights and have no issue getting it. True that the place is abit dated but it is well kept and clean. I guess it really depend on one's expectation. Cheers.

Most Resorts in Sentosa have difficulty get city born staffs to work in rural Island, due to inconvenience and longer travel distance. Rural Resorts are mostly designed for oversea family visitors who like in rural island, such as Perth's rural areas.

Nothing really bad to say about this hotel. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a man who took our luggages. Getting our rooms took no more than 20 minutes. Ordered food took 30 minutes to prepare, cook, and deliver. Not bad. Rooms are great. Was able to shower and sleep in peace. Great breakfast that starts from 7am til 10am. People who have negative reviews were just spoiled rotten people who wants service right away and don’t wanna wait. People without patience will certainly write negative reviews.

A small chiller, not a fridge. I think it is not cold enough for my drinks. So I requested ice bucket every night.

I stayed here too but bungalow side. Love the pool a lot but the shower area clogged so easily. It reach up to my ankle when I bath.😅

That must be terrible to have a clogged shower. We stayed in their 2 rooms Villa a few years back and really luv the private pool too, but we prefer the Jacuzzi as it was heated.

if I 'm not wrong during our stayed in this video, we used Baygon. I published another updated video on our 2nd visit with them recently, which I shared a few issues we faced. This time, we were using a random Malaysian brand. So far both brand work effectively, but we normally light up 4 to 6 coils at the same time, a bit Kiasu I know.

It's nice actually 👌 if they complain about the light should stay in a hotel city center full of light and bright, typical nature hotel I think everywhere like this, especially near the beach. It's romantic tho
