Never try to fill petrol uptill top tanks are designed to have some margin space above petrol so upto auto cut is the best method to go. When you fill-up your car's fuel tank to the brim, the vapor produced by the fuel escapes into the atmosphere because there is no space for it to settle. ... The vapor travels to the car's engine along with the fuel through the pipes from the working process of the fuel pump.

@@abhilashkhajuria In every car's filling pipe there is a place where there is a small charcoal canister filter and the job of that canister is to let the air pass through while neutralize the gas fume. When you car's tank is empty, it is not really empty, it is full of air, so when you start filling it up with gasoline that air has to go somewhere. But if you force fill your tank, you take the chance of damaging that tiny canister and thus risk having an emission issue. Which can be expensive to fix.

In terms of the base/active model I can't think of any other good looking, safest, best engine, decent fuel economy and featuristic car. With around 12 to 12.5L 😎👍(on-road pricing) I personally think Skoda Kushaq has nailed it. It offers all important features which its competitors or rivals don't. It also gives you electronic adj door mirrors, Pretty good quality 6 speakers and rear AC 😲 . I can't consider Kia Seltos or Creta because they almost cost the same but aren't safe enough as Skoda Kushaq. I also considered Kia Sonet HTX 1.0 L Turbo AT and 1.5 Diesel MT which offers plenty of features. I was almost convinced but the leg room is something I couldn't get over with. There were tons of features which I'd hardly use (except wireless Android & Apple carplay). But the overall quality was a downer. Ride quality is not as good as Kushaq's. I'm fine with wired Android auto and Apple carplay 😎👍. After driving a Skoda Kushaq I had no second thought to book one. Also you can completely make a base variant of Kushaq to look like a top end, isn't that insanely good of Skoda? I'm so skeptical when it comes to buying a car so I pay attention to detail and quality. Hope my opinion helps someone who's in a dilemma with KIA Sonet, Seltos, Creta and what not. Skoda Kushaq won't let you down. 😉👍

@@mehendalesachin yes, from my point of view. I would prefer a well built car with more than enough safety at this price point. You get safety add-ons which are first in segment and no body else offer those. I'd say kushaq is the one to go for if your budget is somewhere around 12.3L (base) instead of sonet or creta or seltos.

@@iamdsurve Base variant has 7 inch touch screen and it does not have android auto and apple carplay or reverse camera. Please confirm that once and yes it does not have rear AC vents either. But it certainly is more safe than Creta and Seltos or Sonet and Venue. However, since the road presence of Kushaq is more or less same as Nexon or XUV300, you can consider those too as they are both 5 star GNCAP rated. Plus, the higher variants of these two cars will cost almost same as base variant of Kushaq. To me, Nexon or XUV300 are more VFM than Kushaq as even the engine performance of Nexon and XUV300 is great plus you get all comfort and convenience features. Even Ford Ecosport higher variant is around same price as Kushaq base variant

In the first place they shouldn't have given 1 ltr engine for such a pricey car. Doesn't matter if it's turbo charged. It's still feel weaker compared to my friend's old polo GT TDI. They should have worked on this area. If someone is talking about the engine and says it's not underpowered, then I completely agree to them but at this price point there shouldn't be any compromise. I prefer 1.5 TSI in every way. Either get 1.5 TSi or look at another car for the price

I got the 1.0 mt car on 7/30/2022. I have driven only 150kms so far and completely inside the city. The mileage for now is 12. I was told it will improve further by the showroom guy. I am expecting 13-14.5 in city (Chennai) and. Almost 18-19 in highway. My style of driving is high reving in first 3 gears and then settle at 4th and 5th gear with loads of small breaking and a bit of zig zag driving. Nice Video Amar! Again expecting a higher mileage from a Brand New Car is vague. Once the car is driven atleast 5k kms it will start to give good mileage, still having a 15+ kmpl from a brand new car that too Turbo Charged is really good but lets us not forget its a 1.0litre engine, a naturally aspirated engine will give higher mileage and also will have higher engine life plus more compatibility with CNG if someone have that in mind

An important point to be noted here is ...If we drive sedately we can extract 15 to 17 km/L on a 1.0 L.engine...But d moment you put your foot down it will drop to 11 and 12 km/L. A 1.3 or 1.5 L diesel engine will still manage 19 to 20 km/L with aggressive driving also.

If driven with a light foot, you will get decent mileage, but try utilizing the full potent of the motor with fun heavy foot driving :) You will get mileage in single digit figures for sure. This is an enthusiasts vehicle and Skoda fan boys, who don't care about ever increasing fuel prices and their priority is driveability, performance and smile on the faces. Missing diesel powertrain will hurt Skoda for sure :) This can sell max 1500-2000 units on monthly basis, if Skoda increases the service centres, vastly improves after sales service and maintenance costs

@@ahervijay97 If you stop filling when the pump clicks off there should be no problem. If you tend to keep filling after the first shutoff, you are overfilling the tank and you have the possibility of drawing liquid fuel into the fuel system evaporative control system. This happens because liquid fuel expands as it gets hot. There is a space in the top of the tank where vapors are stored and then allowed to be transferred to the charcoal canister. If liquid fuel expands into this area that is how liquid is drawn into the evaporative system. Liquid fuel will damage the charcoal canister that is the holding tank for normal fuel vapors that build up in the fuel tank. This canister is designed to hold the vapor until which time the engine computer decides to purge the canister with air and draw the vapors into the engine to be burned as part of the combustion process. The liquid fuel saturated charcoal will not release liquid. Your evaporative system will not function. You may notice pressure venting from the tank when you remove the gas cap to fill the tank, especially in hot weather. It will likely illuminate the Check Engine light or a Gas Cap light and indicate a trouble code for evaporative system failure. It may run rich if liquid fuel is somehow managed to be pulled from charcoal canister-depending on the volume of liquid fuel in the canister. You may also smell gasoline, especially if parked in a garage. All this because some people insist on squeezing every drop of gas they can get into a gas tank.
