Dear Friends, I have one question: One controlling area can manage other controlling area?

If you have different FY/COA then u need to have different Controlling area per company code. At a time we can set only one controlling area in SAP and also cross company code transaction not possible with multiple controlling area. If you create multiple controlling area and operating concern then consolidation is not possible in SAP. Also if your company have any idea of future expansion then this is going to affect your speed of the system.

Hi Sankalp, I understand your concern, its only natural to be scared of trying to learn a new skill. But once you start relating to the functioning of an SAP FICO module with the fundamental financial logic use cases that is used in industries, you'll start getting a hang of it. Moreover, it takes about 6 months for an average learner to get a hang of this module. So, why not commit this 6 months and become a SAP FICO specialist? Hi Mudasir, You need to undergo training ( either Regular or OLTC) in any of the SAP Authorized institutes to give your certification exam. Other option - If you have good experience in SAP FI/CO and also hold 2 implementation projects experience, then you may directly contact SAP India, provide all the required documents to them, register yourself for exam and get certified.
